36 Finding an Elder (Part 1)

After the army was roused from their sleep, they got ready to head out on another long journey that shouldn't be too perilous. Dai and Yu hugged each other. "I love you. I'm still going to love you after these four years have passed." Yu reassures Dai as Dai rubbed his scent all over her body.

"I know, but I want other people to know that you're taken." Dai tells Yu.

"I'm more than taken, I'm married." Yu says with a smile on her face. Dai gave her a cheeky smile.

"Yes, you are my wife. You are my wonderful wife." Dai tells Yu. Yu kept the grin on her face. She gazed back at Trelawney, who was just staying in the back.

"Trelawney." Yu calls her name in a sing-song voice. The fourteen-year-old looked up at her mother.

"Mother." Trelawney walked into her mother's waiting arms. Yu hugged her back, patting her head.

"Let it out. I know you're going to miss us." Yu says, grabbing her husband's hand to pull him towards her. Dai stood at his wife's side as they stared at Trelawney. Trelawney, eyes watering, started to sob into her parents' clothes. The both of them hugged Trelawney as she cried her tears. She didn't want to be separated from them, but she knows that it will be hard for her to say goodbye when they find Yu an Elder to train her. When Trelawney was done letting out her tears, she stared up at them.

"I'm going to miss the both of you when you leave to train." She tells them.

"We know. When we return from our training trips, we want to spar against you." Dai tells Trelawney, holding her head up gently. Yu agreed with the sparing idea. Dai kissed Trelawney's forehead. Trelawney couldn't wait to start her own training to improve her own power and to impress her parents when they return from their training.

Eli watched the exchange with a beaming face. In four years, this army will be something incredible. He thought. He knew that he would train them relentlessly.

They continued their journey onwards to another village. However, they only stopped there to buy food and other necessaries that they needed and they went on their merry way. They continued to travel until they were forced to stop due to limited light. "We'll camp here for the night." Dai says, stopping in a secluded area. The army picked their own areas to sleep at. Dai and Yu slept against a tree and Eli and Trelawney did the same thing.
