Balance of Elements

When he saw Juin's skeptical look, he asked, "Do you know anything about maintaining the balance of elements?" 

Juin shook his head, but both Wolfe and Luca nodded. It was part of their supernatural studies, and one of the first few things they learned outside of human education. As for Juin, since he was late to the scene, Tucker had conveniently forgotten that his student lacked a lot of basic knowledge and assumed that Juin already knew most things. 

"But that's only if there are opposing elements in one's body," Wolfe said. "Juin only has one…"

His eyes widened suddenly as he looked at Eranos, "Unless..." 

Eranos nodded.

"As the vessel to another soul," Eranos finished his words for him. "Juin also carries around different elements, as well as a different level of power in him. Not to mention the fact that powers from different worlds, even if they are inherently similar, are different in a minuscule level."
