Getting Wet.

**

"Did you see Azriel?" Kielee asked. She was not a lover of parties. Back at home, if there was one, she would find an excuse to go hunting with Azriel.

"He went to meet the princess," Heather told her. When she noticed that she wanted to go after them, she stopped her. "Please, do not interrupt them. Azriel is making up for his mistake."

"I am already tired of these games," Kielee said as she took the napkin away. The hall was not noisy. The women kept on whispering to each other. As for the men, they played cards. The dance team was warming up behind the curtains.

But she did not care about their entertainment. All Kielee wanted was to have Azriel by her side. These days, he was after women of the Royal family.

He was the type of man that every woman would want. Tomorrow, there was going to be a tournament. He was going to participate. More eyes will be on him tomorrow.

"I wished we never came here," Kielee said with her eyes searching around. Before Heather could say a word, she stood up and left for the door.

Outside, there was no sign of Azriel. But the princess's carriage was waiting in front of the entrance door. Kielee wished there were no guards. She would play a trick on the princess. That spoilt brat had no respect for anyone.

"Stop, Kielee" Heather appeared at the door. She did not want her friend to get hurt but the mission was important to them. "I told you to tell him about your feelings but you don't want to."

"I don't want him to think too much" She explained. "There will be so much going in his head."

"You are right. There is a garden behind" Heather suggested. She had zero ideas that her brother was there with the princess. "Let's take fresh air and see if you will calm down."

"Thank you for always being there for me" Kielee hugged her. She had no sister or brother. After the death of her parents on the battlefield, she was left alone in this world. Stryga's mother took good care of her. Azriel and Heather acted like siblings she never had.

"What do you think is going to happen?" Heather asked when they broke from the hug. She wanted to keep her occupied, if possible forget about the princess for a while. It would do her good.

"Azriel is going to get what he wants. I saw how the princess looks at him" Kielee said as they got into the garden. "There will be a wedding sooner than we all thought."

"I hope so. I can't wait to take my reven.." Heather stopped when she saw Azriel about to kiss the princess. She tried to make Kielee turn but it was too late. She saw it. "We should go, dear. This site is not good for you."

Kielee was speechless. Their faces were so close to each other. She wished she never came here.

"Let's go," Heather held her hand and dragged her away from the garden. She knew it was going to take forever to calm her friend down. Her body became cold. The clouds were becoming dark. It seemed as if someone was summoning the rain to come. "Where are the God damn twins?" Heather screamed.

My heart melt when he brought his lips closed to my neck. I felt his breath on my bare skin. My eyes opened and his long dark hair was all I could see.

They smelled nice. My hands clenched into fists stopping me from throwing them around his neck. I have never been this close to a man before.

All my life, I lived within those walls. I barely go out of the palace. Men were forbidden to come close to me. The seven husbands I married died before they could do anything to me.

"I think I have fallen for you" His sweet voice hunted me. I felt wet down there but I had no idea why. My monthly flow came last week. How come did I feel a rush down there?

I grabbed the flower stem behind me and swallowed hard. He did not change his position after saying that. Beads of sweat covered my forehead even though it was winter.

"Give me a chance to prove everything to you, my princess" Lord Azriel said, biting his lower lips. I did not say anything in this situation. An unknown fire was burning in each part of my body. I needed to get rid of it before I do something stupid.

He took a step back and smiled at me. That mischievous smile told me that he knew what he did.

"You…" I started but lost my voice. This has never happened to me.

Lord Azriel took my hand fan "Should I?"

"No, I will it" I snatched it away from him and he chuckled.

"It is clear that you want more than I gave, your highness" We started walking towards the trees. He looked at me from time to time.

"What is that?"

"Me..." he stopped walking and I halt as well. "Have you ever felt that way before?"

I wondered what he was talking about. Was it the fact that he made me sweat a little? "l am confused, my Lord?"

"I can't go beyond…you are a woman…not just that…the princess of Akkad" He shuttered as he spoke. I knew whatever was going to come out of his mouth was improper. "I can't say it without your permission."

"I understand but you can say it" I urged. "We are friends now."

He took steps closer and wished he didn't. I was going to melt soon "W-when we W-were close earlier…did you feel a rush between your legs? More like a hot water…an urgent one."

I was speechless. He was so bold to ask me such a question. I felt ashamed. What was he thinking? How did he know that I was wet?
