Prologue 1- Birth of the Demon Emperor's Third Son

The hounds were howling hell's tune as every demon was celebrating the birth of their new prince. The Demon Emperor's first wife had finally been able to conceive a child!

The maids, who had assisted the birthing, left with a curtsey, leaving the Queen and the Demon emperor alone along with the new addition to their family. Curious eyes peeked into the room before First Mother gestured for them to enter. The First born child was first to approach the newborn that lay in First Mother's arms followed by the second who slowly walked as he was still cautious but curious as he did not know what was happening.

(A/N (Important): First Mother = First Wife of the Demon Emperor. The first born and second born children are not the sons of 'First Mother'. They are the children of the Emperor's other wives. This is normal in the Demon World especially if the 'husband' has a high social ranking / status or is powerful. Specifically the First born child is the son of the Emperors Third wife 'Shui Mu', once the first princess of the Nāga Tribe, a half-beast species whose lower bodies are that of snakes. The second born is the son of the Emperor's Second Wife 'Kasai', once the second princess of the Drakania Tribe, an ancient species that is draconian in nature. First mother is a Seraph, a descendant of a Fallen angel Satan himself, her name is "Hedera".)

"First mother, is he our new brother?" Efialtis, the first born son, asked. He had darker than black hair and eyes. His skin was dark gray and though was only 15, muscles already defined his physique.

"Yes he is. Come, come closer."

Efialtis nodded his head and approached his new brother while slightly pulling on Thanatos', the second born, who had hair and eyes no less brighter than fire, red tribal tattoo looking birthmarks painted his entire body, and was less built than his older brother but it was reasonable since he was only 7.

First mother gestured both of them to hold out their hands as she guided them to her son's.

A glimmer of a brotherly affection shone in their eyes and they held onto their little brother's two little hands which were the size of half / a third of theirs. The infant gently squeezed their hands with the tiny strength he had while letting out a small laugh.

The two adults and two children couldn't help but swoon over the newest addition to their family. They watched as after a few seconds, the infant gave a little yawn.

"What's his name?" Thanatos asked with a meek voice.

"We still haven't come to a final decision yet have we Darling?"

The Demon Emperor together with his first wife laughed. "Hahaha let me off just this once my Beloved, Since of course my lovely wife Hedera is the most Gentle, caring, and smart in all the land. She would surely let off this tiny incompetence her husband has. This Humble husband always makes sure to give the most perfect names to my most perfect sons. The amount of time spent would not be close to the worth of having the most suitable name in the world, therefore no matter how long it takes, I will be sure to give him the right name!"

"Cheh, this man and his silver tongue, it does not work on me! You better give him one by the end of the week or face my wrath!!!" Hedera scolded her husband.

"I will be sure to let my son grow up to be a far better man than his father!!!"

"Ehhh?! but dearest, I am not that bad~"

Hedera puffed her cheeks but before her husband could shower her with more sugar coated words of praise, she cut him off and faced the children of Sister Shui and sister Kasai who were both snickering.

"Go back to your mothers now, You can play with him in the future as I sense your mothers are starting to worry." Hedera spoke in a soft and sweat voice that contrasted to the tone she gave her husband earlier.

"Hai!~" The two responded synchronized as they dashed out of the room.

"Will you let me hold my son at least?" The Emperor whined.

"..... fine."

"Hahaha come come my son, up in your papa's arms!"

Hedera smiled at the actions of her husband. How could she possibly refuse / stay mad at this man? It was like getting mad at a cat. You can scold it all you want but it still wouldn't understand you and continue to do what it wants.

"Well would you look at that darling, he has his mother's eyes and lips. He will surely grow up to be a wise, cunning, and handsome man."

Hedera chuckled and replied.

"Nonsense, he has his father's nose and strong jaw. He will surely grow up to be a leader who has both a might that can shake the earth and a heart as vast as the sky."

"Why not all of them?"

Hedera together with the infant gave a little yawn then she replied.

"No, definitely all of them. he is after all our perfect little boy."

"hahaha of course. And it seems both my perfect ones are tired. Rest, you have worked hard my wife- my light, and my boy- my little world."
