1 Chapter 1 - Demon Core
There are 14 hells in total starting from the lowest hell;
Limbo, land of pure nightmares
Dis, land of the living undead
Tartarus, land of total darkness
Sheol , the bottomless pit
Har Megido (The Ancient Battlefield), a broken plain where armies of gods and demons fought, angels from the war are still taken prisoner.
Pandaemonium (The Throne of Perdition), land of fallen angels
Nastrond (The Hall of Suffering), land of intence suffering, prisoner angels from the war are chained here
Chaos (The Yawning Chasm), land of void where nothing exists, all matter is destroyed
Sodom & Gomorrah (Sister Cities of Sin), founded by and are home to the renegade souls who manage to break free from their tormentors on the path between Pandaemonium and their would-be eternal end at Chaos
Gehenna (The Valley of Fire), land flooded with the flaming bile that stirs underneath Dis' rocky crust, which is spewed out of the mouth of a nearby volcano.
Labyrinth (The Garden of Oblivion), land of a maze of stone ruins, seemingly the remnant of what once must have been an expansive settlement, but all memories of its past have been erased - haunted by woeful specters of forgetfulness, and weary lost souls who cannot remember their purpose.
Erebus (The Inverted Pillar), Growing downward from far above, Erebus is not unlike a gargantuan stalactite. It serves as a distorted mirror image of the mountain of Purgatory, which reaches up to Heaven. The one and only exit from the realm of Dis lies far up towards the base of Erebus.
Purgatory (The Flames of Absolution).land of flames that keep demons from exiting hell as the flames work to destroy

Finally the fourteenth hell, the land which connected all the lands together, only the most powerful and evil demons dared to live here, If weaker demons were to step foot on this land, they would be cruelly beaten and eaten alive by the stronger demons.
It was purely survival of the fittest. And at the center of the land was a castle bigger than what humans could dream to create.
The castle was further divided into three divisions. The left and right wings encircled the main castle.
Only the demon emperor and his family could live here in the center wing. The other wings were used for the servants and the guests / ceremonies / events. The hounds started to howl as the sky turned from black to blood red, signaling the start of day.
It was a regular day, but was about to be the start of everything that would change a certain demon's day.
"How is she?" a tall powerful looking man asked with a very worried expression
"Your highness! Lady Hedera has not woken up yet." a man who had two horns on his head with a head of dark green hair and red eyes answered. By the way he dressed himself, he seems to be a dark healing practitioner.
(A/N: obviously bad guys need their healers too~)
"What are you talking about Dilitirio? She has already been asleep for weeks!!! I have placed her in your care since I have heard you are the best. Why has she not woken up yet?!?"
"Your majesty, though I have not cured the lady yet, I have found the reason why her strength has been continuously degrading. The cause is not found in her body but in your son's, your majesty."
"What?!? what do you mean? How could my son be the cause of this? He is just an infant!"
"Your majesty, as you know angels are not meant to have children as they are meant to be 'pure' whether they are fallen or not, during childbirth they already struggle between the line of life and death, most who survive have their life source depleted by at least 80-90%. Your wife has miraculously been left with only a decrease to her life span of about 8-10%. However, like other cases, she has a special bond with her child. In her case, the bond is a life thread. This is a type of bond in which her son has been continuously been sucking up her life and now from 10% it has risen to about 25-30% of her life being taken. We fear that in about 6 months her life will be completely depleted."
"What?!? DON'T JOKE WITH ME! DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE SPEAKING TO?!?"
"Your majesty, I fear I am not fooling you. It is all true. But... there is also a way to cut this thread."
"What? If there was one why haven't you told me yet?! Why haven't you saved my wife yet!?!"
"Your majesty, we have found the life thread attached to their cores."
(A/N: Cores / in their case, Demon cores. In games it is what players sometimes receive as spoils after defeating monsters. Cores are described as the monsters spirit stones. they are like raw gems / ores that vary in size and color from strongest to weakest. in others, they describe it as a weak point that if destroyed will instantly kill the monster. In this case, it is all of the above. Also, they will be the 'meridians / dantian' that will be the base of their cultivation / power. so if they are damaged, it will entirely affect the capabilities of the owner.)
"What? How could that be?"
"You majesty, that is definitely the case. Also we believe that if cut, aside from severing the connection between them, it can also gravely endanger their lives and cultivation. But we have found a way to increase the survival rate of either one of them."
"Is that so? Well then tell me at once!"
"Yes. if we want someone to survive after severing a life connection with another, their chances would increase if it was cut at a distance that will be barely noticeable for them. The best place this would be would be directly the core of the other. But doing this would bring great pain and suffering to the receiving end. It would be nearly impossible to survive without their core being cracked if not shattered. It would also be impossible to have both of them survive this without any harm. Either they both die, or one of them life. Also it would be best to conduct this earlier rather than later as the longer the bond gets to develop, the harder it is to cut."
"... I understand... conduct this during the point when... yin energy is at its peak."
"But sire! That would mean?!?"
"Do everything it takes. Save my wife!!!"
The Emperor turned to leave as Dilitirio kneels. His eyes darkening and an evil smirk appearing on his face.
"Yes, Your majesty~"
-In a dark room four figures stood laughing between themselves. The Shadows hiding their faces masking their identities.
"Hahaha that fool! Life Strings?!? they only exist in legends!!! there is no such thing!"
"Hahahaha indeed, what a fool. Though the Lady has miraculously been given such amount of life, with this one move we can take that away, as well as the little prince's!"
"Hahaha truly genious! How could he not even suspect a thing?! hahaha it will not be long before his fall and the rise of our true leader!."
"Huh?! sush. I hear someone coming!"
"No need. I already heard everything." A fifth figure emerged, a woman with long black hair, skin as white and cold as ice, and her eyes a glowing yellow green.
"Y-you!!!" one of the shadowy figures finally emerged into the light where he could be seen. It was Dilitrio!
"Shush-shush, I won't tattle-tale, infact, I want in. It has been so long and yet that bastard cannot even see my true worth! That man is better off dead!"
"We don't need you. In fact we can kill you here right now and no one would notice a thing. you wouldn't even be remembered!" Dilitrio's tone rose, obviously affected by the apearance of this new individual.
"Nonsense. Although I am only the Emperor's second wife I am still the queen! In fact, it seems it wasn't a curse that I had given birth to a female."
"What do you want?"
"I want my daughter to be this 'new emperor's' first and ONLY wife. If 'he' agrees then I will even give my all to assist and guide you. It is already far obvious why I would want to do so. I want power, no matter what kind it is! Now I demand to have an audience with this 'new' emperor!!!"
Dilitrio faced his companions, revieving their nods he faced back to the woman.
"... Deal. But it will be up to you whether you can convince him or not."
"That's all I need~"
