10 Weapons' Evolution

The next day, Yuuji woke up next to a naked Kate in Kate's room. He stood up from the bed silently, as to not wake up Kate, and went out of the room, going down the stairs, and went to the dining room.

In the dining room, was his mother who was organizing the table for breakfast, Erika who was reading a book, and Shou who looked like he didn't sleep the whole night.

"You know, next time you two have sex, put up a silencing barrier. I know that Kate was trying to make Aphrodite jealous, but other people here are trying to sleep during the night..." Shou said in a sleepy tone

"Kate put down the barrier in the middle. Complain to her, not me" Yuuji said

"Whatever. Now I got some blackmailing material if Kate annoys me"

"What did you do?"

"I filmed you two. You don't mind, do you?"

"...As long as you won't use it for your... self-pleasure, then I don't"

"You think I would masturbate for Kate!? That's a good joke you got there. I would never do that! She's annoying as hell!! Besides, I got Erika, so I don't even need to masturbate!"

"If you think I am going to please you every night like those hookers, you are greatly mistaken..." Erika said without averting her gaze from the book

"You know it isn't like that, I would never treat you like a hooker. You're my precious princess..." Shou whispered as he moved behind Erika, massaging her shoulders as he whispered into her ear, and you could see a faint blush on Erika's cheeks, despite keeping her gaze on the book

"Breakfast is ready!" Maria said as she came in with plates in her hands, together with Aphrodite who wore a pink apron above her clothes

"Now, everyone sit down! Where are Mike and Kate?" asked Maria as she and Aphrodite laid the plates on the table and sat down in their seats

"Still sleeping" stated Yuuji

"After the night, I'm not surprised that Kate is sleeping, but why is Mike?" asked Maria

"He probably worked out too much as he always does" stated Shou

"Too bad. As a fellow harem member of Yuuji-Kun, I wanted to have Kate-Chan's opinion on my cooking..." said Aphrodite

"I don't have a harem. You can cook?" asked Yuuji

"That's rude of you, Yuuji-Kun! Of course I can cook!" Aphrodite said and pouted

"It's just that all of the Olympic gods I met until now, are completely useless in everything that is not their power..."

"Don't compare me to Ares and Zeus! They just sit in their thrones all day, bragging about how big their dicks are!!"

"Aphrodite-San, please refrain from making rude comments like this when other people are eating!" Maria scolded Aphrodite

"Oh! I'm sorry for speaking like that while everybody is eating! It was very rude of me!"

"It's fine, as long as it won't happen again. I won't have one of Yuu-Kun's future brides to act in vulgarity like this!"

'Here's the known harsh mother...' Shou thought with an amused smirk on his face, but then Maria turned her face to his direction, frowning, and said:

"And you! While you went with Yuu-Kun and Mike to that party, Erika told me what you have done. You should be ashamed of yourself for acting like that towards your girlfriend!"

"Yes, Oba-San..." Shou said

"While you are staying here, you're under my responsibility, and because I know your parents, I know that they won't approve of your actions either, so it's my job to punish you for it!"

"I believe it was you who said that others are eating, yet you are the one who makes the most noise..." Yuuji said without looking at her, keeping his gaze on his plate

"..." Maria frowned at Yuuji for a few seconds, before her expression changed immediately to one of sadness, and she said:

"Yuu-Kun scolded me..." she said and slumped in her chair

'As always, Yuuji is easily able to calm her down... I wish my mother would be like that. While she doesn't shout like Oba-San, if I would talk to her like that, I'll receive a beating...' Shou thought, and then he took a slight glance at Yuuji and smirked

'I just got an interesting idea...' Shou thought and averted his gaze, but not before Yuuji noticed his smirk and frowned

~~~ Time Skip ~~~

Yuuji was sitting in his seat, waiting for homeroom to start, as the teacher just entered the class. After the rest of the students sat down, the teacher said:

"I have some news for you. A transfer student will join our class today, so please help him adjust to the school"

'I have a bad feeling about it...'

"Ichinose-Kun, please come in..." the teacher said, and as Yuuji suspected, Shou walked into the class with a wide smirk. Yuuji wasn't the only one who recognized him, as Rias and Akeno recognized him from Riser's visit in the clubroom and the engagement party, while Sona and Tsubaki only recognized him from the engagement party.

"He's so hot!!!" a lot of the girls whispered and giggled as Shou entered the class, while the boys thought:

'Another handsome bastard!?'

"Ichinose-Kun, please introduce yourself..." the teacher said

"Hi everyone! My name is Shou Ichinose, and I'll be a part of this class as of today. Originally, I am from Kyoto, but I've transferred to this school, to spend my last year with my childhood friend, whom I'm staying with" Shou said and bowed

"Do you have a girlfriend?" asked one of the girls

"I do" Shou said, and the girls sighed in disappointment, while the boys smirked in joy

"Can you tell us who your childhood friend is?" asked another girl

"Of course I can! It's Yuuji!" Shou said and pointed at Yuuji, and all of the students in the class, except for the devils, looked at Yuuji with shock.

"Hayama has friends!?" one of the boys exclaimed, and immediately regrated doing it, as Yuuji narrowed his eyes threateningly at him

"Why wouldn't he? Yuuji is super awesome, don't you think?" Shou asked with a smirk, but the male student could see a dangerous glint in his eyes, and he nodded frantically in approval

"That's enough. Ichinose-Kun, sit down at the seat next to Hayama-Kun" the teacher said, and Shou did as he was told. Once he sat down and the lesson began, Yuuji asked Shou telepathically:

"What are you doing here?"

"It's too boring to stay in the house all day, and unlike Kate, I like humans. Besides, we need a place where only the two of us can talk, right? I'm sure the devils won't follow us around after what you did at the party, and will only approach you directly, so no one would listen to our conversations.

Now that everyone is at the house, I won't be able to talk to you there about the true contents of the warehouse, or about THE search, but we can do it here!"

"You could've stopped at "boring" as it's obvious that it's the reason you're here. The other stuff may be true, but some solutions still include staying at the house..."

"You know me well... but I know you too. Let me tell you something I thought about for a while. The events that occurred at the party weren't as exciting as I expected them to be, but instead, they were pretty boring. The only thing that truly interested me during the party, was the fact that you spoke to Kuroka's sister and hinted that Kuroka isn't what the devils say she is. Why would you help Kuroka if you're mad at her? You're not mad on Kuroka, don't you? You're trying to bring her back to you, because-" Shou said telepathically, but before he managed to react, he fell on the floor, as the chair fell to the side.

"Are you okay, Ichinose-Kun? How did that happen?" The teacher asked worriedly

"It's okay, I'm fine. I tried to pick something off the floor and lost my balance..." Shou said with a smirk

"Okay, but be more careful from now on..." the teacher said

"Yes, Sensei..." Shou said as he stood up, and raised the chair, and for a second, he could see ropes of darkness coming out of the chair's shadow, wrapped around its legs before they let go of the chair and returned into the shadow. He then glanced at Yuuji and said telepathically:

"Got it. I won't pry anymore, but you didn't have to resort to that..."

The school day has ended, and Yuuji and Shou made their way back to the house. When they arrived at the house, they opened the door, but just as they entered, the house exploded!

~~~ With Riser ~~~

"That's what lowly humans deserve for humiliating me! Good job Yubelluna! As expected from my Queen! I'll be sure to reward you tonight..." Riser said as he descended to the ground, and then caressed Yubelluna's thigh

"Thank you, Riser-Sama..." Yubelluna, Riser's queen, said with a blush on her face

"As expected of Yubelluna-Sama! Even if they're a bit stronger than normal humans, they're still humans, so there's no way they'll survive Yubelluna-Sama's attack!" said Burent, one of Riser's pawns

"Now that we finished these humans off, we can go back..." Riser said as he turned towards his peerage. He brought all of his peerage to execute revenge, except for Ravel, whom he knew would disapprove of his idea, because of what happened during the engagement party.

"Riser-Sama, look!" said Mihae, Riser's bishop, and pointed at the direction of the house. Riser looked at the direction of the house, and as the dust faded, instead of the ruins of the house, he saw a cocoon of darkness

"What the hell is that!?" asked Xuelan, Riser's rook

"I've got a bad feeling about it..." Isabela, Riser's other rook, said

Slowly, the cocoon dispersed, revealing the house without any harm, and Yuuji narrowing his eyes at Riser and his peerage, while Shou had an amused smirk.

~~~ With Sirzechs ~~~

Sirzechs was doing paperwork in his office, as Lord Phoenix suddenly teleported straight into his office.

"Lord Phoenix? What are you doing here? You know that even you aren't allowed to come here into my office without any warnings..." Sirzechs said

"I'm sorry, but I had to come here as fast as I could! Riser has gone to attack the humans who attended the engagement party and considering the warning they gave before they left, I assumed that I should tell you"

"He did what!? Why didn't you stop him!?" said a shocked Sirzechs

"I didn't know that he left, until my daughter came and informed me that Riser's queen put a sleeping magic on her, to prevent her from stopping them, so when she woke up, my daughter came straight to tell me"

"Serafall is supposed to visit them today, to establish a cooperative relationship with them. I just hope she'll make it in time to stop it..." Sirzechs said

~~~ With Shou ~~~

"You sure are dumb, aren't you? We spared your life last time, but instead of cherishing the life you were given, you came here to lose them!" Shou said, and then giggled loudly

"Humans really are stupid, if you think you can defeat Riser-Sama..." said Marion, another one of Riser's pawns

"Yuuji, you're not going to spare him this time, right?" Shou asked

"No. You can play with them all you want. I'll tell Kate that she has some toys to play with..." Yuuji said and turned around and entered the house without sparing another thought to Riser and his peerage

"You dare turn your back to me!? All the pawns, kill them both!!" exclaimed Riser in anger

"Yes, Riser-Sama!!" all of his pawns said and rushed towards Shou

"I'm really happy you came, you know? Now I can test these!" Shou said, and then a magic circle appeared on the floor, and a pile of guns came out of it. Seeing the guns, Riser's pawns stopped and inspected the guns from a distance

"You see, the church had a great idea. They invented revolvers with bullets enhanced with holy power, but they didn't develop it furtherly, so I took the privilege to do so. Assault rifles, machine guns, missiles, grenades, and a lot of more military weapons, all enhanced with magic. These ones are enhanced with Ark, a superior version of holy magic, invented to be used against devils. That is the new evolution of weapons! Magic and human technology together, and you're the lucky ones who got to witness its debut!" Shou said as all of the guns started to float, and soon, they were all lined up above Shou

"Again, I thank you for granting me the opportunity to test these out! Now, die for the sake of evolution!" Shou exclaimed, and all of the guns started to fire.

Riser watched with horror, as all of his peerage members were slaughtered in a matter of seconds until he was left alone. He then went down to his knees, and bowed, so his head touched the ground, and he said:

"I'm sorry for all of the trouble I caused, so please spare me!!"

"Sorry, but you had your chance..." Shou said as a rocket launcher appeared in his hands

"Bye-bye!" Shou said, and then Riser saw a missile, covered in black flames, shot out of the rocket launcher, and the next thing he saw was only darkness...
