He then said aloud the word "Inventory"
Suddenly another Blue Screen popped up, but this time it showed a small figure of a man wearing the same thing as he was. To the side of the figure was a 10 by 5 grid that had two items in separate boxes one was a full waterskin and the other was a gift box. He put his hand out and touched it. The current screen disappeared and a new one popped up.

He thought 'inventory' to check and saw that there was simple leather armor and a sword with a sheath. He quickly poked on the armor.
'Equip? Y/N'
"Yes"
Suddenly the clothes he was wearing disappeared and the leather armor appeared. He did the same with the sword.
He then said "Stats" and another screen opened

He then opened his map and started walking towards the nearest town.
