7 Demonic Body
Back at the amusement park, a boy's body was lying on the floor in a T shape, deeply unconscious.
Despite the bright sunlight in the sky, a layer of orange light appeared around his body, the warmth emitted from within his body covered it like a cocoon of orange light and vapor.
All the scars on the flesh of his back and some others he got over the past few years was starting to heal up at a speed discernible to the naked eye.
Soon, a layer of purple light appeared on the other half of his body. Unlike the warm orange light, this one emitted a dark and cold feeling.
What was most shocking was that while his flesh was healing, his bones, muscles, internal organs were being infused with the purple and orange energies.
It was a nearly indescribable feeling, both the heat and cold intensifying within the orange and purple cocoon surrounding Thomas awake a thin green sparkle within his body.
However, as this layer of orange-purple slowly spread out from within his body uniting with the light-green particles covering him, there was a strange change in the unfertile ground around his body.
One could clearly see the vegetation getting infected by the orange light, starting from Thomas and spreading out in a 10 meters the previous bare land was filled with vegetation. Soon the entire amusement park was covered in green, but much later the purple light spread as well, causing a quick withering in the vegetation that was just brought to life.
The dark evil purple light mixing with the warm orange light started getting thicker and thicker, and the atmosphere turned into two polar opposites, light and dark, cold and warm, good and evil.
The warm rays of the sun were able to enter the surrounding of Thomas' body, making the orange light grow stronger.
On his skin, a layer of orange and purple tattoos slowly formed. Soon, two demonic tattoos of the sun and the moon appeared on each side of his body. Similar tattoos of sun and moon could also be seen on several parts of his body and they covered his whole body, all the way to his face.
The pair of eyes that were closed all this time were fully opened, revealing a mysterious purple left pupil and the fiery orange right pupil. This phenomenon carried on for almost two hours, by then all the colors and strange tattoos slowly faded away, sinking back into his body.

"Yes!" Thomas felt a chill down his spine as a trace of anime energy was detected inside him. For an unknown reason, all he felt was unease instead of joy as if he did something terribly wrong.

After a while more, Thomas' fingers twitched, as he slowly regained consciousness.
As he opened his eyes, he couldn't help but shiver in a sudden chill. Despite not being as painful as he believed it would be, he still felt an uncomfortable chill and burning sensation in his whole body after awakening.
"What hour is it?" Thomas sat up in a sudden start. He felt his body was a lot lighter than usual, and he hurriedly lifted his hand to touch his back. Not only did his body seem to have grow taller, his muscles were more defined and his white skin was smooth and immaculate.
Picking up his phone and checking the screen, his soul nearly left his body. "Ohh no. It's 10:00 am! The test is starting in twenty minutes."
His mind of him which was a bit muddled, was fully awake. He thought of calling an AI car to bring him to the institute, but the distance was too far. By the time he got there, the only thing waiting for him was his removal from the institute's adept preparatory class.
"Shit!" Without much time to think, he simply decided to run.
'Whoosh!'
As soon as he started running with everything he had, Thomas quickly realized the change to his body. Compared to the past, it seemed as if his body was ten times lighter and his legs also moved way fast, every step of his covered about 9-10 meters.
The aches in his body from the running all over the amusement park hunting demons was totally gone and replaced by this never-ending stamina.
As he accelerated even further, he could already see the road and the huge structures both in the ground and sky of the massive industrial sector of the city.
Without he noticing, gray mist was exhaled out of his body. At this point, the human figure of a youth was seen competing with the vehicles on the street with his speed.
"What is that?" The pedestrians walking down the street were shocked by the human figure who passed through them like a hurricane.
"I must get there. I must get there." Repeating those words in his mind, Thomas gave his all. Some of the people in the street even mistook him for an Adept.
"I see it." Far away, he could see the silhouette of the fifty-store tall Dexia institute. Seeing he was close, Thomas lowered his speed. Upon arriving at the gates, he saw there was no other student there, probably most from the area already having classes. And only his own class was gathered in the testing room on the first floor for the exam.
The old man waiting by the institute doors, nearly fell over his chair when seeing the youth appeared right in front of him like a ghost. He recognized the youth as the one everybody in the Adept preparatory classes talked about, but upon a closer inspection his eyes turned wide.
The man opened the gate for him and handed a piece of paper. "Kid go to the left corridor, fifth testing room. Your class is already there."
"Thanks old man." Thomas quickly thanked the old man for telling exactly where everybody was and swiftly moved towards the place.
The old man who was left behind was staring at the kid's back feeling a little surprise. As one of the Dexia Institute employees and a respected specialist scientist in Anima Energy, he could certainly detect a trace of the same energy he works with all the time in that youth's body.
It wasn't rare for a kid even younger than him to have a trace of anima energy, but this kid here used to have the worst record in the entire city with only 3% genetic awakening.
As having even a trace of Anima energy inside his body meant the genetic awakening was well over 90% or even 100%. "Hehe... Things are becoming very interesting."
The old man patted his belly as he believed the Fourth year of the Adept Preparatory class was going to be unique.
