Her response

(Ray)

Ray heard his name being called and turned around. He realized that he didn't really have to. Mainly because he knew who was calling out to him by the sound of her voice but also because it was too dark to see anything clearly. And yet his basic human instincts kicked in as he responded to the sound of his name.

"Yeah." He said and raised a hand up for no apparent reason. "I'm over here."

"What are you doing on the edge of the building?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice.

"Ohh…" Ray said, realizing how it must have looked like to her. "Don't worry. I was just enjoying the breeze. Nothing to be alarmed about. Come over here, it feels quite nice."

"Uhh—okay…" said Meghan as she slowly began her approach. "I'm not standing that close though. I don't trust myself to not look down, panic and then fall on my face."
