12 Lans's Secret Hideout(1)

Lexi walked through the empty and dirty street, following the little ladybug that shows her the way to find Lans.

Lexi would sometimes look to her back to make sure that no one follows her. She didn't want any of that big muscles man's people come and caught her again. Escaping for one time may be her luck but for the second time, she would not be so sure about it.

They keep walking until the sounds of the busy street become less and less in her ears. Unexpectedly, she was already outside the city. She looked around and saw tall and big but abandoned building surround her. She didn't see any single people here and from Lexi's observation, this place was abandon from a long time ago.

Suddenly, a black with dark blue strip car drives toward Lexi. It stopped right in front of Lexi which make Lexi a bit uncomfortable because she didn't know who the driver is.

A man came out from the car with a wide grin on his face. He is the same man with the blue skin who Lexi just met today.

"That was easy. I thought you have to run here and there first before my ladybug takes you here."

Lexi smiled in relief when she saw it was Lans. "You're here!"

"Hmm." Lans took out a white box from the backseat and approach Lexi. He put the box up onto his car engine before he opened it. Then, he started to type something on the keyboard. Lexi didn't say anything as she just watched all Lans's movement. Lexi could see the box was something like computer systems.

Lans grabbed the handcuff at Lexi's wrist before he open the secret code. He typed some inside the computer before he insert the secret code in the handcuff.

'CLICK'

Just in one second, Lexi could see her wrist already free from the handcuff.

Lans helped her to remove the handcuff before he threw it away. Lans looked at Lexi again with his cheerful smile. "See, you are free now."

Lexi didn't know what she should say about what happen. She feels that this matter is too simple but she couldn't put a hold into this matter. She even didn't know what wrongs with the situation right now.

"Get in... We have to get out from here before they come. We are still not safe here." Lans entered his car while taking the box with him. Lexi quickly follow him and enter the front passenger seat.

"I thought that we already done after we get rid of the handcuff?"

"Of course not... It was because I didn't turn off the system inside the handcuff. I just unlock it and let them find it here. We shouldn't get away before having some fun, do we?" Lans looked at Lexi with his playful smile.

Then, he take out another small box and take out an egg-shaped thingy inside it. Lans touch on top of that thing and suddenly it change into an insect with many legs. Lans put it outside and the machine walk away into hiding.

"What was that thing?" Lexi's curiosity couldn't keep her silent, so she asked. She keeps looking at the small robot which already hides behind a big square pillar.

Lans chuckle amused when he saw Lexi's curious face.

"That is just my another weapon. It was small but very powerful. One of these things can blow off a whole building."

Lexi's gasped loudly, both in horrific and awe. "You mean... You want to blow over this place?"

"Not until the tracking system on that handcuff leads the bad guy here." Lans start the car engine and drive away. "Let's go. I want to show you something fun."

Lexi didn't asked anything anymore and keep still on her seat.

Lans drove the car into an half-finished building not far from where he put the small robot. Lexi looked at Lans to get some answer from Lans on why they have to stop here.

"Watch!" Lans didn't say anything further as he pointed his finger to the area below the building.

A few moments later, a group of man in black arrive at the site but when they tried to look everywhere, they couldn't find their target. These people must be Havard Daggy's men who came to capture Lexi.

Lexi saw they gathered together in a big circle and discuss about something. Suddenly, the small robot which Lans released before they left, get out from it's current hiding place and move quickly into the middle of the men.

Everyone saw the small robot and when one of them tries to catch it, suddenly a big explosion occurred, causing a big mushroom cloud in the air.

Lexi opened her mouth widely as she watched the ground which now has a big hole. She then turned around to look at Lans. "What... The heck was that?"

Lans laughed for a few minutes before he turn his head toward Lexi. "I told you. My weapon is powerful enough even though it is small in shape. Now, those people would never try to find you again. Don't worry, they would never know it was me who kill them."

Lexi was still found it very difficult to understand. After all, the explosion was so big and loud. It will attract unwanted people later if they didn't get out from this place. Lexi didn't want to get into more trouble than what she has now.

Seeing Lexi's troubled expression, Lans know what was going on in her mind, so he said, "What are you worrying about, huh? No one is going to know about this matter. Just leave the rest to me. I always did this kind of thing to them."

"What do you mean?"

Lans smiled brightly. "You must already know who is Axen, right? He is Havard Daggy's cousin. Every time he makes trouble with me, I blow his cousin's property with the same robot I use earlier. So, don't worry about this. I help you with the handcuff while I'm having fun with myself."

"You're not the nerd and quiet type person, aren't you?" Lexi narrowed her eyes, sharpened her gaze toward Lans.

However, Lans only laugh coolly. "I won't let the people who threaten me get away just like that. I'm not a kind-hearted person. You help me once so it's natural for me to help you again."

Lexi sighed defeated. "By the way, how did you know I was there? In this big city, there is no way you would find me that faster."

"I have my way."

Lexi shoot Lans an unbelievable gaze. She thought that there are more secret than that robot of Lans. Lexi can feel something more about Lans but she would only know what it is if she asks Lans himself.

"I want to take you to some place. You want to come?" Lans shows his bright smile toward Lexi again.

"Sure, why not?" Lexi nodded as she also want to know where he will take her to.

Lans smile knowing that Lexi want to tag along with him. He turned on the engine and in a minute, the black car strode out from the building.
