30 Capture The Hungry Hyena(3)

After convincing the fat man about how dangerous the incident is, Lexi and Orange then get full permission to do the investigation.

"Thank you, Sir for trusting us with this. But first, let me ask you a few questions..."

After Lexi explained about how the thieves can break into his house, Tynan turned more serious this time and did not play around like before.

"I can see that you like to play with women and take them to your house. Did you always change women every week?" Lexi asked.

"Yes... After all, I don't care if they stopped coming here or stayed. Whatever their choices are, I don't care. As long as I can have women by my side, I don't care about the other women," The fat man answered arrogantly.

Lexi nodded at the statement.

"I want to ask more regarding this case, Sir. But I don't think it is convenient with unrelated people here," Lexi shot a glance toward each of the women beside Tynan.

With one sign, every woman by Tynan's side leaves the room, leaving only three people there.

"Thank you, Sir... However, like what you have said, you do not care if that woman wants to stay or not by your side, as long as you still can enjoy yourself with other women. This was seen as your weakness, Sir.

The enemy sent you a spy woman to keep an eye for you and when the time's come, they will attack. You have mingled with many kinds of women before, did you still remember whoever women you ever mingle with? I assumed that one of these women was the spy. Did you suspect anyone?"

Tynan thought for a moment before he said, "I remember those past three weeks, there was a woman who consistently stayed by my side. After the theft incident, she never came here again. That's it! That must be her!"

"May I know who she is?"

Tynan took a metal object on the table. He pinched the object using his right thumb and came out several hologram screens. The screens show them many different types of women's images.

Tynan used his hands to move all the pictures before he stopped at one hologram screen. He then brought the hologram screen to Lexi.

Lexi watches the image carefully.

"She called herself Radia Doth. Before I brought her here, she was a customer from the Lemon Drug Club. After a few days knowing her I brought her home because I think she was a very beautiful and funny woman. I didn't think that she would be a spy from the enemy."

Tynan also shows them another woman's image. "This one is Carina Devian, she is a friend of Radia which Radia herself introduced to me. I think both of them is working together."

"I will investigate them. In the meantime, you have to stop bringing women into your house. This is for your safety too. This time might be your wealth that they after, who knows later they want your life. You better be careful, Sir..."

Tynan looked at Lexi with an impressive expression painted on his face. He never thought that this young girl would be this smart. Never did he find anyone from any underground guild to come and investigate directly to the victim's house.

The underground guild has their own rule for their jobs. They will take any requests from the clients but they would never investigate because they think it was too tiring and take a long time to finish. Therefore, they only rely on the information that the clients provide.

"I would not bring any women in the meantime. I don't care if my money could be taken back or not... I just want to know who is the leader behind this group. You have to capture those culprits!" Tynan angrily slammed his fist onto the table.

Lexi nodded sharply. "Rest assured, my team and I would not disappoint you."

After they get their belongings again, Lexi and Orange walk out from the house. They went to the car where Lans was waiting for them.

"Did you get the information?" Lexi asked as soon as she got inside the car.

Lans smiled and showed Lexi the computer in his hands. "Of course when Tynan said their names, I already searched their current location. Fortunately, Radia Doth was somewhere near here. Meanwhile, I can't track where Carina Devian is. She must be hiding somewhere."

"Radia Doth is enough for now. Did you check the other victims' information too?"

"Yes, while I was checking, I saw that all of the three victims had contact with Radia Doth. It seems like Radia Doth was one of the Hungry Hyena's members. We have to tell the Fire Ring team to catch her before she runs away," Lans took a glance toward Lexi.

"Yes, I think so too. We only need them to solve this case, right? Now we got the clue, we have to tell them," Orange also thought that it was good for the Fire Ring team to do the rest. After all, they only have to help them with cases, right?

But because Lexi was also a part of the detective team in the past, she couldn't leave any cases unfinished. She needed to finish this even though there were already some clues about the Hungry Hyena.

"No, we still need to investigate. Radia Doth was only a member from the Hungry Hyena. She is not the leader... To catch the leader, we just capture Radia ourselves. We cannot let the leader know that we are after him," Lexi said as she looked at Lans.

"Bring us to Radia's current location. We need to investigate what she was doing now..."

Lans turned on the car engine and rode off to the roads.

"Say, Captain... Why are you so confident that someone from inside leaked out the information to the Hungry Hyena?" Orange asked as she pinched her chin slightly. She was still curious on how Lexi could make such an assumption during their talk investigation with Tynan Rock.

Lexi sighed silently in her heart. She realized that Orange was someone who did not come from this kind of environment.

Back in the 21st century, Orange could be labelled as the normal community who did not have any knowledge in every crime activity.

Originally, Orange was a Racer and her way of thinking is also as a Racer. Thus, doing a Hunter's job is probably unusual for her.

"You might don't know about this but I'm a multi-talented person. I can do anything that I want to do, even if it was something that nobody could do." Lexi replied to Orange but kept her gaze focused on the hologram screen.

"Given the strict and high quality defence technologies inside of Tynan Rock's house, there was no way for the thieves to enter the house that easily so an attack from outside would be very difficult. Thus, they need a plan to attack the inside.

Tynan Rock is a womaniser and always likes to enjoy himself with women. He must have thought that this personality was his strength since he could show off his wealth.

But in the eyes of the enemy, this is the best opportunity to attack him secretly. They sent women to distract Tynan so that they could attack when the time's come. In this case, Tynan was the easy victim since he won't care about anything else since he only care about women."

Orange gasped both in shock and awe at Lexi's overall assumption. She never thought this way before Lexi told her. 'No wonder Captain was so mad when the Fire Ring team did not have enough information. Everything was planned very well.'

"So, why did you want to catch Radia now?" It was Lans's turn to ask Lexi.

"I don't know how Radia makes the other victims get distracted but if she was involved with every victim before the theft incident, it was more likely she was working under the Hungry Hyena. We will investigates Radia but we would not capture her directly..."

Lexi pushed a hologram screen above her head so that everyone could see it. "After the theft incident, Radia did not go hiding but instead went to every club in the city to enjoy herself. There were two conditions on why she did this. First one is because she was not the member of Hungry Hyena and she was forced to work with them. The second one, Radia is a member in the Hungry Hyena and currently doing her next task. She needs to show herself to distract the nation's police and lead the police to the wrong location."

"Wow, Captain... I didn't know that you could think that way. You have a smart brain," Orange claimed excitedly. This was the first time she did things that did not involve car racing and it was quite exciting.

Lexi chuckled smugly. "I was always a smart person."

"You mean, Radia was working for the next job. Which means, they already have another target. Do you have any idea who is the next target?" Lans asked as he turned the steering wheel to the left side.

"No, but I can find the target using the information we have. Right now, we need to find Radia first."

After ten minutes later, they arrived at a building named as Mo Line Club. The streets in front of the club were filled with people of different genders. Many kinds of racing cars are parked everywhere, showing that this place is an usual place for small street racing.

The moment Lexi and the others stepped out from the car, people near them shifted their gaze toward them and then to the racing car.

Lexi took her friends inside the MoLine Club and found an empty space to occupy themselves.

Lexi looked around to find Radia Doth while Lans was getting them drinks.

"You wait here with Lans. If something happens, don't wait for my signal. Run back to the car and leave," Lexi tapped on Orange's left shoulder several times before she walked away.

When she passed by a tall bulky man, she secretly raised her hand and took a gun swiftly from the man's leather belt. The man seems not to realize something has gone from him as he continues to talk with his friend.

Orange squinted her eyes when she saw how swift Lexi's hand was when she took the gun from the man. She becomes more curious about Lexi's real identity. 'She knew about my identity. She can deal with a Hunters' job and her movement was very swift that even the man didn't realize his gun had been stolen.'

Lexi hides the gun behind her black leather jacket and goes to the second floor of the club to search for Radia. She was very confident that she could find her in here since the second floor is only allowed for VIPs. Since Lexi moved with a swift movement, no one realized she entered the second floor without a pass.

Lexi went into a quiet corner and took out a small device from her leather jacket pocket. Lexi pressed the button and a hologram screen consisting of some images appeared. Lexi takes a careful look at the image before she closes the device before she walks away again.

Lexi went from one room to another to find Radia. Lexi was lucky that the second floor was crowded enough for her to walk through and check every room without being suspicious.

At the tenth room she went, at last Lexi found Radia sitting while drinking wine with some group of men. Besides Radia, there are also four women inside the room.

[Captain, did you find her yet?] Lans's voice emerged from the small wireless earphone device that Lexi was wearing.

Lexi put two of her fingers to her right wireless earphone. "Yes, I found her. She is inside one of the VIP rooms on the second floor."
