1 Awake Again

"Shit!"

"We are under attack... Everyone, evacuate this cruise!!"

"Abandon the cruise! Abandon the cruise!!"

Hearing the commotion from the passenger at the right side of the cruise, Lexi lift her head and look at the scene before her.

She became startled when everyone around her starts to run away from something.

"Ah!"

Lexi held her right shoulder when a man bumps onto her. It wasn't that hurt but enough to make her yelp in pain.

'What the hell is happening here? Why is everybody panicking?'

Lexi are yet to find the answer when a man's voice calls out her name.

"LEXI!"

Lexi turned her head around and saw her yet to-be-fiancée, Luke. Luke arrived at Lexi's side at he quickly grab onto her wrist.

"Come on, let's get out from here."

Lexi's eyebrows furrowed. She didn't understand why they should leave this cruise. People around them keep running away from something.

Luke uses his hands to hold Lexi so that no one can hurt her. "A group of pirates are attacking this cruise. We need to get out from here."

"Pirates ? How come they are here... Shouldn't they been captured already?" Lexi didn't move even after Luke pulls her, indicating that they should leave this cruise too.

"They are another group of rebellion from North. We have to go now or else, no one can save us." Luke pulls Lexi into his embrace and walk along with her to the other safe area.

"Why would the pirates attack us? Shouldn't this be our vacation?" Lexi held her anger inside her heart. She never expects the pirates to attack this cruise.

This was supposed to be their vacation together when Luke would propose to be her fiancée. But she never imagines it would be ruined by this group of pirates.

'Damn those useless pirates! How dare they attack this cruise? Why don't they attack other ship instead of this one??!!'

Luke let out a small chuckled at her words. He gives a simple kiss on his lover head before saying, "Don't be angry, babe... I will take you to another vacation. Right now, we need to get out from here. I don't want something happen to you."

Soon after, the bodyguard that Luke hired to protect Lexi approach them and together they went to the helicopter deck on the ship.

Luke looks onto his phone screen. "The helicopter should be here soon."

Lexi only nodded and she tightens her grip onto that man's shirt, didn't want to let go. Whatever may happen after this, Lexi didn't want to abandon Luke.

Although Lexi know how to defend herself because she learnt all types of martial arts in this world, Lexi also didn't want anything happen to Luke.

Suddenly, at the opposite side of the cruise, a loud explosion occurred, leading to a big and black mushroom-like smoke in the air. Another sound of gun shooting heard everywhere together with the scream from the passenger.

One of the bodyguard approaches nearer to Luke. "Master, we should leave now!"

"We wait for the helicopter first!" The bodyguard didn't have any choice but listen to his master's order.

A few minutes later, the helicopter arrived at the deck.

Luke quickly pulls Lexi into the helicopter along with the other bodyguards.

Just when they enter the helicopter, two of the pirates saw them and one of them immediately shoot at them.

Two of the bodyguards die at the spot and one of the bullets hit right to Lexi's left waist.

"Argh!" Lexi put her hands to the wounds and her palm was no stained by her own blood.

The bodyguards quickly pull their guns and shot at the pirates.

Luke was shock as he quickly held onto her. "No!"

"Quick! Let's get out from here!" One the bodyguard order the pilot to fly off the helicopter.

"Give me the first aid!" Luke said to one of his bodyguard and he turns his head to Lexi again. He saw Lexi's face slowly turn to pale and that makes Luke become more worry.

"Lexi, hey babe... Hold on, okay. Just hold on!" Luke let Lexi's head rest on his shoulder. "Where's that damn medicine!? Give it to me!"

Suddenly the pilot starts to say something in anxiety. "Sir, we have an incoming missile!"

Luke turns his head to the pilot again. "What!?"

BOOM!

The missile hit the tail of the helicopter. It caused a big explosion and the pilot loses control of the helicopter.

"Mayday! Mayday!"

"We're going down!"

"Mayday! Mayday!"

Because of the lost control, the helicopter slowly descending from the sky to the water of the sea.

With a big splash, the helicopter swallowed by the sea water.

With a loud gasp, Lexi awoke from her sleep. She quickly holds her heart as it was going up and down because of the unstable breathing.

"Wha... What happened to me?"

Lexi look down to her waist and didn't saw any wound there nor feel anything painful.

"Shouldn't I already die from the attack? Why would I be here?"

Lexi look around her and saw that she was inside a small white room. Everything was white even for her clothes.

"What is this place?" Lexi removed the thin blanket from her body and she get off from the bed.

A few moments later, the door to this room was opened from outside by someone.

Lexi quickly turn her head to the person who was stepping inside the small white room. What makes her shock is that the person she saw was wearing some kind of black soldier's suit.

"Who--Who are you?"

The soldier look at her before he said: "You're awake now. You can go back to your home."

Lexi turn into a speechless state.
