The Mystery

"Please don't leave" Yan Jun said just before the light disappeared from his sights, but it was too late. The light was already fading when he said that. As the night went on the light had disappeared, he waited so long for the light to come back until his eyes gave out and slept.

The sun had risen; on a lazy Saturday with a sound of water dropping on the floor because of the morning dew, and Yan Jun woke up feeling empty inside unlike before he woke up happy... This time around he felt like he was alone again, and things had gone back to normal... He couldn't get up he lost all motivation to get up because the thing that made him happy is gone.

*knock knock*

His friends An Yue, Xiao Ga, and Xin Wu, was in front of his door waiting for him to open it but, no one answered. Xiao Ga grabbed the doorknob and turned it... It was unlocked.

"There is no way that Yan is this careless" Xiao Ga said worrying about Yan Jun and what might have happened to him.

*Door opens*

"Yan? you here?!" An Yue said

The three were finding Yan Jun only to see he was on the ground beside the couch, he wasn't moving. An Yue and Xiao Ga helped him up to get up in the couch

"What happened to you Yan?" Xiao Ga asked Yan Jun while slapping him

"That is not helping" An Yue smacked Xiao Ga's head

After An Yue smacked Xiao Ga the two proceeded to argue, meanwhile Xin Wu was looking around the house looking for things that can explain why Yan Jun was acting like that and saw the book he borrowed from the library yesterday. As Xin Wu scrolled through the pages to see that the book was indeed a sad one, so Xin Wu explained to the two about what might be the cause of Yan Jun feeling gloomy, while it does seem logical to think that there might be more to it than meets the eye but the three did everything they can to make him at the very least react. But, to no avail, they spent half of their morning just trying to make Yan Jun react. Xiao Ga looked at the clock and said to the others

"Hey guys its already 12:43, let's eat"

The two looked at Xiao Ga with disgust

"How could you think of food at a time like this" Xin Wu shouted at Xiao Ga and then a sudden rumbling sound erupted from the stomach of the An Yue, Xin Wu, and Yan Jun. An Yue and Xin Wu were forced to submit to Xiao Ga's request to eat.

"But what are we going to do about him?" Xin Wu said then he three looked at Yan Jun then, Xiao Ga went up to him and sat next to him and whispered something his ear... As soon as Xiao Ga was done with what he was saying, Yan Jun got up and said sorry to the two and went to the bathroom.

"What in the world did you tell him" An Yue questioned Xiao Ga.

"Let's just say that I knew Yan for a long time now to say what I said" Xiao Ga chuckled but, the two were clueless in what he meant.

As the three were waiting for Yan Jun, Xin Wu went around Yan Jun's house and looked around, she stumbled across his room and found some old photos of him in his desk... As she was looking at the photos he saw one photo has a tear on the right and left side of him leaving nothing but a silhouette of a man and a woman then a thud sound echoed across the hallway. Xin Wu got out of Yan Jun's room then went back in the living room. As she entered the living room once more she took a good look at the room and she doesn't know why she hasn't noticed the gigantic tree in Yan Jun's living room all she can do is laugh at the fact that she didn't notice a tree that big.

"So what's the story about this tree" Xin Wu asked Xiao Ga and An Yue

"I don't know either it has been there ever since I met Yan 13 years ago but, Judging from the appearance it looks like it's been there for way longer" Xiao Ga replied to Xin Wu's question

Xin Wu sat down on the couch and waited

*5 Minutes Later*

Yan Jun finally got out of the bathroom and went to his room to change, after that he went to the living room then said to the three

"Where should we go for lunch?"

"Are you sure you're fine?" An Yue asked him

"Yeah..."Yan Jun replied to An Yue's question then they went out to the mall to get some stuff and eat. While there Yan Jun was still down about what happened, the three noticed that and, there was this awkwardness surrounding the air so Xin Wu suggested that they take a seat at the bench over at the balcony of the mall

*The four sat down on the bench*

After sitting down the Xiao Ga, An Yue, Xin Wu finally asked the question about what happened and why Yan Jun was like that and he was hesitant to say it in front of them but he knew he can trust it's just he couldn't bring himself to do it and, just lowered his head and said

"It's nothing I'm just a bit under the weather but, I'm fine don't worry about it"

After they went to the mall they walked with Yan Jun until they reached his house and An Yue and Xiao

Ga said their goodbyes and went home... Xin Wu stayed.

*Yan Jun and Xin Wu went inside*

"This isn't the person I knew from yesterday. What happened?" Xin Wu asked

"I told you its noth—"Yan Jun was cut off because he was surprised to see that Xin Wu was inches away from his face

"I know there is something wrong but, why won't you say it, your friends are worried you know? But they won't know what to do if you won't tell them!" Xin Wu scolded him

And Yan Jun doesn't know what to say because he knows she wouldn't believe him so he just kept silent and listened until...

*The light appeared*

"Please don't scold him it's not his fault it's mine"
