Prologue

It was a cold afternoon just after school when 3 friends Yan Jun, Xiao ga, and An Yue just got back from taekwondo practice and are headed home, the trio were talking about life and how sometime its unfair but fun to do but somehow the conversation about life turned into conversation about love life and Xiao ga opened it with this question "so have you two got any interest in girls?" upon hearing this An Yue quickly jumped in to teased Xiao ga

"you in love ga?" An Yue said followed by a laugh

"what?!?! no you ass I was just askin." Xiao ga quickly retaliate this quickly raised to an argument between the two then to settle things Yan Jun jumped in to smack the two in the head to stop fighting,

"Alright that's enough" the two were

silent afterwards until Yan Jun broke the silence "so are you in love ga?" he jokingly said to Xiao ga "i told you I'm not but I would like to be... I wanna feel that I live for someone...that would be nice..." Xiao ga replied quite calmly

Yan Jun thought about what he said and replied with a "yeah...that would be nice"

Xiao Ga raised an eyebrow to what Yan Jun said and said: "how about you Jun? have that special someone?"

Xiao ga sets his sights on teasing Yan Jun, but Yan Jun replied with "Haha if you are trying to tease me think again...but I don't really have someone cause I still need to focus on getting that scholarship and solving some stuff with my family"

after saying that Yan Jun looked at the ground

"dude you are such a buzzkill all you ever do is study if you are not studying your in the other building training like what the heck dude do you even have time for th-" Xiao ga was cut-off by An Yue by smacking his back

"Oww! the heck du-" An Yue made a silent gesture then pointed at Yan Jun, Yan Jun was staring off into space

"s-sorry I was way out of bounds" Yan Jun was still staring.

"uhh...Jun" Xiao Ga poked Yan Jun, And Yan Jun quickly snapped out of it and then Yan Jun looked at Xiao Ga and An Yue

"dude, you alright?" Xiao ga asked Yan Jun

"y-yeah I'm alright don't worry about it" Yan Jun replied

the trio reached the intersection they said their goodbyes and went on their separate ways. After parting ways Yan jun took the train to get to his house, his house was a modern style house with white paint for the outside and inside has a big one-sided mirror where Yan jun can look outside to relax but his house is a weird one don't let the outside appearance of his house fool you for inside there is a four hundred year old or so tree that grew there when the second owner left it there cause he is afraid it will cause issues if he got rid of it so it stayed there for four hundred years but the tree still has beautiful green leaves and tall structure that went up to the second floor and ever since Yan jun moved in he didn't think about cutting it down instead he cared for it for him this was his time to relax he often eats dinner in front of it because it was just so relaxing after he was done with cleaning up his house he prepared his dinner with a beer and sat down facing the tree and took a deep breath before drinking the beer and then he ate. after eating he had a couple more beers to drink before thinking the question and the things that Xiao ga said earlier

*Flashback*

"dude you are such a buzzkill all you ever do is study if you are not studying your in the other building training like what the heck dude do you even have time for th-"

*Flashback ends*

that moment has been repeating in Yan jun's mind ever since Xiao ga said it

"...Xiao you just don't understand...the hardship...the pain...WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW!!!" Yan Jun shouted with frustration and tears in his eyes

Yan Jun threw the can and hit the tree after Yan Jun realized that he threw it on the tree Yan Jun went to it and picked it up and said sorry to the tree

"maybe... I guess I don't understand him either but I guess it would be nice not to go home to an empty house" Yan Jun fell asleep on the side of the tree he was sitting on...

*in the middle of the night*

*a light shines from the tree*

as the light touched the sleeping Yan jun's head, a voice spoke out

"I hear you, young one...you don't have to be lonely anymore" the light approached Yan jun

Yan Jun had felt the warm light hug him, the hug was warm, gentle and comforting a hug that Yan Jun haven't felt in what feels like ages to him. The sleeping Yan Jun has started to cry while the light comforted him

"Let it all out" the light said

"I'm here... I was always here, you took care of me and it's my turn to pay you back" the light carried the sleeping Yan Jun to his bed

" we will meet someday but not now, I can promise you that" The light slowly fades away leaving Yan jun

*Morning*

*yawn* Yan Jun got up and stared at the sky for a moment and smiled
