8 Yokuro's Sword

The silence fell in the tent. Nobody knew what to say. Mei awkwardly took her sword and put it on the table. She pronounced some weird words before it started glowing like hell.

Jack was so dazzled that he put his hand on his eyes. "What the heck is happening Mei?"

Mei touched her sword to make it stop but it didn't " I don't know! I just said the names of the three Gods!!"

Then suddenly the light disappear. In the blade, these words were now written : "A chosen always never defeat his enemy alone"

Elion look confusedly at the message "Wait, that's what Yokuro said"

Brad nodded " Can I touch it?"

Mei shrugged. Nobody ever touched her sword except her and Yokuro so she had no idea what's gonna happen. " I guess so"

Brad was about to touch it when Elion grabbed his wrist. "Brad, don't touch it. We don't know what is gonna happen so don't take a risk."

Brad nodded and retreat his hand. Instead of him, Mei reached her sword. As she grab it, she felt a huge wave of power in her hand. This time it was her hand that glowed and then Yokuro appeared like an hologram.

Gasps were heard. People from outside the tent came to see the light and they found their dead leader.

The voice of the leader invade the tent " If my people are hearing this, it means that there is hope. You have found the three marked child. I believe that this child be bring the end of the Dead Empire."

Everyone stayed quiet waiting for next message. "It will be a girl, a strong and stubborn one but with great power and kindness. I believe she's your last hope, people because she's the last light remaining in Gods's map. My people, survive and fight for the three Empires. Bring them back with the help of people in all the Dead Empire and make your legacy. Bring peace, happiness and calm back in the world. Deal with Creatures but don't kill them Cyclops, Goblins and Dragons aren't your enemy. Good luck!"

Yokuro disappeared in smoke. Some had tears in their eyes remembering the good life they once had.

Mei raised her hand to get people attention "You all heard Yokuro. I know that in his city there are swords for all of you but the roads are too risky."

The crowd look worried and confuse. A man raised his hand "What are we going to to then?"

Jack stood up lazily from his seat "We are going to pass in the Cyclops Forest. As our leader said the Cyclops aren't our enemy, the Salvatore is"

A woman raised her hand "When are we leaving?"

Mei thought about this question as well. She needed to rest just like everybody "Does two days sound good for you all?"

The crowd answer her loudly "Yes"

Elion stood up as well. "Then is settle, we'll leave in two days. Now, everybody need to rest and take forced because we might face danger during the travel."

After that the whole crowd left. Mei sighed and left the tent as well. She was feeling a bit nauseous and was tired. Before she could reach her tent, someone pull her near a bush.

"Who do you think you are Mei?"

Mei was confused. She didn't know the girl she was facing and even more she didn't understand her question. "I think I'm Yoshimo Mei why?"

The girl let a small sound of impatient "You were seducing my Jack."

Mei finally understood what was happening. Lily talked about a girl obsessed with Jack. "You're Mary right?"

The girl nodded and flipped her hair "Yes. You better stay away from Jack. He's mine and only mine."

Mei scoffed "I would love to but he keep coming for me. "

Mary raised her hand to slap her but Mei grabbed her wrist quickly. "If you ever try to hurt me again, I won't be so gentle. I don't care if you're jealous because I don't think it would change Jack's mind."

Mei left Mary dumbfounded. She let herself fall on the ground and quickly fell asleep.
