7 Swords and Cyclops

Mei woke up in a tent. Her vision was blurred somehow and she weakly left the bed. The light of the sun dazzled her enough to make her lose balanced. She was surprised, she never hit the ground. She opened her eyes to find herself in Jack's embrace.

She stayed quiet then look at him fiercely. "Can you let me go now?"

Jack didn't release his embrace instead he grabbed her more tightly. "You're weak as hell and you still don't want to rest."

Mei looked at him confused. She understood why Jack used the word still. "I get it, I'm weak right now. But I got to discuss with both you and your father."

Jack sighed "Fine." Yet,Jack didn't let go instead, he carried her like a princess.

Mei stared at the guy carrying her blankly. Since they met, Jack and her had been in some competition and tried to annoy each other but now...

"Jack!! You little scum!! Let!Me!Go!!"

Jack ignored her and continue to walk as nothing she had said matter. Somehow, he liked how Mei could be really childish, her that seems so mature.

When they arrived at his father's tent, Jack finally let Mei go. She slowly walk in the tent where Brad and Elion were discussing. Both of them stopped when they saw the two young adults.

"Mei! You're supposed to be resting."

Mei smiled "That's weird,your son said the same thing. In the end, he carried me here"

Elion's look passed to Mei to his son who was slightly blushing. He smiled at him then turned back to Mei "So what's bring you here?"

"Swords"

Her answer was simple but everybody seemed confuse. Only Elion and Mei had a magical sword and Jack a normal sword. They didn't have swords at all.

Jack asked "What about swords?"

Mei sighed "I suppose that I fainted in the battle right." The three nodded "I recall being at Yokuro City, there was a lot of swords hidden in the skeletons. I chose this one but there was plenty of them."

Elion was quiet for a while "Yokuro City is far from here."

Brad shook his head "Not if we pass by the Cyclops Forest. It shorten the travel to a day or two."

Jack looked outside the his look came back to his dad "We can do that."

With his fist, Elion hit the table "WE ARE NOT!! This is the Cyclops Forest we are talking about."

Mei sighed "The Cyclops aren't as dangerous as the Ogres. I don't think they actually kill humans. In the time of the three empires, the Tsakuri Empire only defend the city from Ogres. The Cyclops never hurt anyone so we did the same in return."

Elion knew that but he couldn't risk to lose anybody. "But it's still dangerous. We can't put lives in danger."

Mei shook her head."I lived there for about two years. I'm still alive."

Jack stared at Mei "Did your scar came from there?"

Mei's face darkened "No, the Salvatore's sword did that. I don't know how I managed to survive."

Brad was even more confuse. "You can't survive to his sword. It magical power is beyond the nature. Nothing is stronger than this swords."

Elion said no with his head "Mei's sword is ten times stronger. " Everyone was stunned " Your sword is the strongest sword created. Since it was made with pure jewels, it made everyone fighting for his power in the end it chose Yokuro and he modified it to make it even more stronger. Only the one who is marked by the three gods can use it."
