Unexpected Meet

Alexa completes her coffee and gets up to throw the cup in the dustbin. While coming back she gets dashed with a little kiddo who was running randomly on the floor.

"Ouch". Alexa screams after getting knocked down by him, but she made sure not letting the kid hurt himself. She grabs him towards her and hugs him before falling down on the floor.

"Thank you Sissy..." Alexa opens her eyes and smiles at the kid who was still in her arms and smiling at her.

She quickly stands back, kneel down to get at the height of the kid and speaks softly. "Where is your...???"

Before she could complete her sentence could see a lady walking towards them in full pace.

"I am sorry for his behavior, Are you hurt". The lady nodded continuously while apologizing to Alexa.

"I am fine", Alexa replies back with a smile. "Please take care of him."

She hears the boarding announcement for her flight and turns to the counter waving bye to the kid and the lady.

She walks up to the flight and grabs her seat next to a lady who was busy on her phone.

Alexa places her handbag on her laps and was about to tie her seat belt when hears the air hostess voice.

"Excuse me mam!, there is a passenger in Business class who wants to switch his seat with you. He is planning to propose the lady sitting next to you and thus wants to sit next to her"

Alexa smiles at the air hostess and agrees for the exchange. Deep inside her thoughts she was feeling happy for the lady, thinking at least someone can find the true love and happiness.

She gets up from her seat taking all her belonging and starts following the air hostess.

The moment she reaches the business class seat, a young gentleman gets up and thanks her for excepting his requests. He walks by her gesturing her to grab his seat.

She settles herself in the new seat which was near to the window without noticing the person next to her.

She tightens the seat belt and put down her handbag near her legs. Takes out her phone and starts playing the game in it.

While she was busy playing the game, small hands reaches her phone to touch the screen.

Alexa turns towards the person sitting next to her and to her surprise it was the same kid which she met few minutes back on the airport.

"Hey kiddo, you wanna play???" Alexa smiles at the kid asking him for an answer.

He nods yes and looks up at Alexa to give her the phone.

The lady who was sitting adjacent to them turns to Alexa and informs her not to get bothered with him and continue her game as he is quite addictive towards phone. (**Alexa thought that she is his Mother)

Alexa smiles at the lady and speaks in low audible voice, "It's OK, I need a partner for this game. I enjoy kid's company so won't be bothered with his presence."

She places her phone in middle of her and kid and continue the game.

They both played the game until the kid dozed off to sleep.

She quickly takes out her scarf and covers the kiddo. After making him settled, she takes out the file for the assignment and starts reading it again.

Alexa was not aware that there was someone who was watching her continuously from the time she had the encounter the dash with the kid.

This guy found her very interesting from the moment he saw her on the airport. His heart has never felt this sort of feeling until today.

Alexa was dozed off again, she was hugging the kid from his waist to ensure he is not falling during the flight congestion and had her head bowed towards her left touching the kid's head.

The guy gets up and grabs his phone from his pocket. He quickly takes the picture of these two and returns back to his seat.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are about to land. Please get back to your seats and follow further instructions from the air hostess."

Alexa wakes up with the announcement and adjusts her seat to the normal position while waking up the kid slowly.

He smiles after looking at Alexa and thanks her for making him sleep in comfortable position.

The kid holds her hand while the plane touches the ground and closes his eyes. Alexa hugs him while smiling and whispers to him. "It's alright, don't panic, we have landed safely. I am here."

All the passengers forms a queue to walk out of the plane. Alexa withdraws her hands from him and guides him to walk towards the lady.

She waves him bye and grabs her belongings.

At the airport.

Alexa walks towards the belt to collect her luggage and after collecting the same, walks towards the exit.

She could see someone holding her nameplate.

She waves at the person, and walks towards him.

"Hello Mam, I have been asked to pick you up and send you to the hotel. Please allow me to carry your luggage and follow me to the car". Driver takes the luggage from her hands and starts walking towards the black Benz parked few meters away.

Alexa settles down in the car and grabs her phone to make series of calls.

First she calls Yie, to inform him about her arrival. Followed by a call to her Boss. And then to Mr. Xiao who is the personal assistance of the person she needs to meet with.

She tried Mr. Xiao phone which goes unanswered, and then she decides to leave a short voice message.

"Hello Mr. Xiao, It's me Alexa from Xia Music Academy. I have reached NY and right now on the way to the Hotel. Please confirm the time of the meeting. Thank you".

"Mam...we have reached. Please carry on with the check in process and I will get the luggage inside". Driver gets down and opens the door for her.

Alexa walks towards the entrance and gets guided by the hotel staff till the reception.

"Excuse me...My name is Alexa Su..." before she could continue further was interrupted by the receptionist.

"Good Afternoon Mam...We have been waiting for your arrival... Please help me with your passport and have a seat...Let me get someone to accompany you to your room." The lady guides her to grab a seat on the right side of the reception area while taking her passport.

"Mam...Please come along with me..." One of the Hotel staff walks up to her and guides her towards the elevator.

"Mam...401 is your room...Have a nice stay and let us know if you need anything..." the guy opens her door and guides her inside the room.

"We will send your luggage in a minute, please relax here" and he walks out of the room.

In a minute, another staff walks in carrying her luggage and leaves the room dropping her baggage and thanking her.

Alexa was finally alone in her room..."Ahh...Finally...Now I can relax for sometimes" she lies down on the bed and closes her eyes to take a quick nap.

Ring ring...Ring ring...Ring ring...

"Hello..." Alexa picks her phone without checking the caller Id.

"Hello Miss Alexa??? My name is Xiao Xing and I am the personal assistant of Mr. Reo Ji."

"Ohh...Hello...I am sorry...I just missed checking the caller Id". Alexa sits back on the bed adjusting her tone and changes her tone to professional.

"That's OK Miss Alexa..It was my bad to miss your call earlier."

"Not a problem Mr. Xiao and please call me Alexa, I don't like getting address by any prefix in my name." Alexa replies in soft tone.

"That's fine Alexa...Umm...I had a word with Mr. Reo and he will meet you tonight for dinner. I will send my driver to pick you up at 7 pm. Will that be OK???"

"Yeah...No problem...I will be ready by 7 pm. Thank you for the call Mr. Xiao." Alexa hangs up the call and lies back on the bed to relax further.
