After he had finished his piece, Huang Lijie hung up the phone, not giving any chance for me to rebute. I lifted an eyebrow as I gazed at the dark screen.

Although he was clearly threatening me, I didn't even feel an ounce of fear. The only thing I was concerned about right now was Bai Fu Rong. What had happened to him? Why did Huang Lijie say that I harmed him?

The only thing I had done was knocking him with the table lamp. Even then, he was still in high spirits as he came down to me.

"Who called you?" Jin asked.

I raised my head to look at him. Staring at the tall man walking towards me, suddenly I felt suspicious.

"Who do you think call me?"

He chuckled. Shrugging his shoulders, he said, "I'm good as long as it's not your ex."

I snorted derisively, looking away from him. 'Yeah, that's not gonna happen'.

"It's no one important."

"Really?"
