"How do you know you're in love with daddy, mommy?"

That question had been on my mind ever since I had turned twelve. It was a magical thing what my parents had. As far as I could remember, they had always been together.

Even on a silent night, I would find them curled up against each other sharing a blanket as they gazed at the sea of stars above them.

How many old couples would still be as romantic?

But that day, mom's answer had puzzled me. "You know when you know it."

Age mattered in the term of love because of experience and being the twelve I had been, there had been no way for me to understand her.

So, I had asked her a different question that I had thought would be easier to comprehend. "Why daddy? Why do you love him?"

Mom had smiled and with a pat on my head, she had told me. "There's no special reason. I just love your daddy."
