"So, you were really forced to marry my father," Huang Qian interjected, speaking neither too fast nor too slow.

In a laid back manner, he observed Han Rui Yuan's reaction discreetly. He didn't want to come out too suspicious and be caught in his father's wrath. He didn't really know this heiress in front of him too well, hence he wasn't sure if she was the tattletale type.

Huang Qian wanted to just come out as a silly and curious nouveau young master. Someone who didn't seem to pose a threat to Han Rui Yuan. Even though he was going to unveil this secret for his sister, he wouldn't sacrifice himself in the process.

However, her reaction did not disappoint Huang Qian. The first strike didn't seem to unnerve her. But, when Huang Qian had pressured her again, stating his opinion rather than questioning her, Han Rui Yuan immediately became perturbed.
