Huang Lijie was smirking arrogantly as if he had already won. "If this goes out into the public, you will be suspected with intentional murder. Shall we see which one will draw more attention? 'The Best Dad of The Year' or 'The Crazy Slut Committing Murder'?"

I had been trying to hold it in but now I couldn't help it. I burst out laughing immediately. I raised my hands to clap for his ingenious plan.

"Oh, like father like daughter. It's brilliant, Father."

"I told you--"

"But it's not enough." I interjected. I stared at him menacingly.

He knitted his eyebrows, looking at me warily.

"There's no smoke without fire." I smirked. "If you post that, we will both go down. They will know that you, father, sold me off."

In that instance, his eyes widened for a second. "I have my way to deal with that."

"I'm sure you have. But, is your power enough to contend with the power behind me?"
