After we told the waitress that they were two of us, she politely ushered us to a table slightly in the center. She left us two menus before leaving.

While looking at the row of Chinese food, I held on to my still aching forehead. "I should've stopped for a coffee first."

Chun Yi pulled down the menu in her hand. "I thought so too. Well, we might as well just order two bowls of porridge and one portion of dumplings?"

I immediately placed the menu down. "Great. I'll leave it to you."

Chun Yi shook her head amused. She then signaled the waitress to come. "We're ordering two bowls of chicken porridge and one portion of steam dumplings. For drink, we'd like Tieguanyin."

"Certainly, Miss." After taking our order, the waitress took the menus away.

Chun Yi took out her phone and began typing away while I tried to soothe my slightly aching head by massaging it.

"So, I have to go after this," Chun Yi suddenly said.
