213 Elope

- Two weeks later -

It was nine in the evening and the sky was already pitch-black. The snow was beginning to gather by the road, the tress, and atop the roofs. It had been snowing down this morning. Fortunately, it wasn't as heavy as the other day. It had been but a fleeting snowflakes.

"Ma'am," called the security guard as he tried to slightly shake the woman who wa sleeping on the couch at the front lobby of the apartment. Her ash grey hair was covering half of her face due to the position she was in.

"Ma'am," he called again. This time a bit louder. And it succesfully awakened the young woman. Her eyes flew open in shock.

"I'm sorry to have surprised you, Ms. Nakagawa. But, the taxi has arrived."

Li Fei took a while to regain her focus and comprehended the guard's words. When she did, she immediately rose from the couch.
