"Jin...?" A soft mellifluous voice chanted into his ears.

Jin Longwen's heart leaped and his entire being stiffened. His touch trembled as his eyes slowly opened up to a half-awake angel in front of him. She looked incredibly drowsy with her droopy eyelids and empty expression. She blankly stared at him.

Jin Longwen felt his heart lodged in his throat while his gaze stayed on her unmovingly. Despite her absentmindedness, for some reason, her eyes seemed alive as she looked him straight in the eye. It was as if he could sense the brightness intelligence concealed within her innocence. Something that could never happen if she had been asleep all this time.

Nevertheless, all he saw now was a mere sleepy gaze from her. As seconds went by, her expression turned confused instead.

Jin Longwen clenched his hand which had acted as her cushion. He squeezed out a smile. "Good morning."
