My forehead creased. Slowly, I felt my consciousness returning.

"Li Fei!" the voice called again. This time louder than before and the shaking became more intense. Eventually, I let out a groan from being disturbed.

"You need to wake up!"

"What!?" I snapped open my eyes. The first thing I saw was a blinding light amidst the darkness, assaulting my vision. My hand quickly came up to cover my eyes. "What the hell?"

"Oh, sorry. Chun Yi, get the light!" Charlotte exclaimed.

When the lights in the living room were finally switched on and I got accustomed to it, that was when I saw the thing in Charlotte's hand which turned out to be my phone.

"You've got a dozen miss calls from..." Charlotte eyed the screen again to recall the name. "Ah...Hiroto."
