Chapter 2, The second invasion

It was a normal day on the new Earth for all of the humans. Everyone was happy greeting each other, playing together, and worked peacefully. And at a certain high school, Alister the girl in the 10th grade of that school, watched the people outside while listening to her teacher talk. She wasn't really " listening" though. She was focused on what she was going to do with her parents after school. Her parents told her that they had a surprise for her at the military base. She was so excited but hid the excitement with just a smile.

" Miss Nash? Are you with us?" Her teacher asked her. She sighed and said yes. " Hey Alis, did you see the super bowl last night?" Alister's " friend" Joshua asked her. " No Josh. 'cause unlike you, I actually do things important for a living." She said in annoyance. " Dang, I was just asking! You always mad! I don't ever see what your problem is!" He said. " Alister and Joshua! I am in the middle of teaching and you two are just talking about nonsense! Detention for the both of you!" Their teacher shouted at them.

Alister glared and Joshua and he gave her an apologetic smile, but she just rolled her eyes and continued looking out of the window. Hours later, it was finally lunch time. " Al, you have detention?! That is so not like you!" Another one of Alister's " friends" said. " It wasn't my fault. Joshua kept talking to me and the teacher assumed that we were having a conversation." Alister said while eating. " Well, I was just asking her about the super bowl." Joshua said.

" Really a football game? Josh, Alister is a girl. Or did you forget about that?" Brianna questioned him. She is another one of Alister's friends. " I didn't. I mean I thought that had probably already seen it with her dad. You know how us brothers are like, we LOVE our football." Joshua said. " I saw the game Josh! The eagles were trash!" Marcus said. " Yeah! They need to just stop playing! They stand no chance against the panthers!" Joshua said. " Hey, did you guys here about the Corona sighting's?" Jun asked everyone.

They all got silent. " Yeah, we did." " Ugh, those disgusting creatures." Joshua and Brianna said. " I can't believe they just came up to our planet and took over! Who does that?!" Jun said. All of them talking about the Coronians made Alister really mad. She despised the Coronas. They were terrible! " We should stop talking about them." Alister said. " Yeah you're right. We might get in trouble." Marcus said. Then they bell rang and it was time for the next period. Or so they thought...

They teenagers started to hear a siren outside and ran out. When they ran out, Alister couldn't believe her eyes. The Coronian ships were here at their planet! She was pissed beyond belief. " Those monsters! Why do they always have to follow us?!" Alister said while heading to the military base. Once she got there, she saw her parents getting ready to get on their planes. " Alister?! Alis, you shouldn't be here!" Her mother said. " No! I want to help you guys! I want to show those things who's boss!" Alister said.

" We know you do Al, but now is not the time! You have to go!" Her father said. She couldn't disobey her parents, and she ran away. She ran out of her parents sight so that they could leave and she could get in a plane. Once they left, she put on her uniform rather quickly and got on her plane that the general gave her. Soon, she took off to the sky and immediately started shooting the Coronians that were flying up there. " What?! Their technology had advanced! We might not win this!!" A Coronian said.

Alister smirked and shot him multiple times and he died. She kept shooting and shooting while flying through the sky. It made her feel good to kill those beings because she felt as if she was already saving the world. Soon, the Coronians started retreating, but Alister couldn't have none of that. She wanted that whole ship to go down. And so, she flew up to the ship and started shooting the engine's. Soon, the ships engines caught on fire, and then it started to fall.

All of the humans on the ground got ready for the Coronians to come out of their ship. Once the ships door opened, the Coronians had their weapons and immediately started heading to the humans army's. The humans made a war cry and started running to the Coronians. And soon, the two started fighting instantly. The Coronians were already losing against the humans because their weapons were better than what the used to be 20 years ago. Soon, the humans started using guns! This made the Coronians scared because of how many people had guns pointing at them.

" Ready!....Aim!.....Fire!!" The general of the army yelled and then everyone pulled their triggers and started shooting all of the Coronas! The Coronians tried to run but,the humans followed the and shot each and every last one of them. Alister was in front of the whole army and decided to slay the Coronian army with her sword. " Please! Have mercy!!" One the Coronians cried before Alister could slice in half with her sword. " You didn't give us mercy when you came to Earth did you? Now why should I, give you pathetic creatures mercy!!" Alister yelled and then she started killing more and more of at an inhuman speed. In about an hour, the whole entire army was killed. All the humans were silent and stared at the Coronians dead bodies and destroyed ships, and then they cheered!

" We did it!! This calls for a celebration everyone!!!" The leader of all the humans said. This made everyone cheer even more. " Wow Alister, you were amazing!" " Yeah, I had no idea that you could fight!" Joshua and Brianna said. Alister smiled and soon everyone came to her and called her a hero. " Thank you all but, I couldn't have done it without our army and my parents." Alister said. Alister's parents ran to her and hugged her. " We're so proud of you Al!" " We should have never doubted you." Her parents said.

And so, Alister became the new hero of the humans and all was well. But what they didn't know, was that the Coronians had an escape pod on their ship! " Leader! The humans, the humans weapons has advanced! They wiped out our entire army!! What should we do?!" One of the Coronas asked their leader. " What should we do huh?...Nothing." He said. Everyone was confused. Why would their leader, the person who led them to this planet and helped them obliterate humans, saw that he didn't want to do anything about the humans. " Leader if I may, The humans weapons a-and technology system, has developed over the past 20 years. They could have a chance at defeating us!" The Corona said. " Don't worry. We won't have to attack." The leader said. " W-Why is that leader?" The Corona asked his leader. The leader of all the Coronians smirked and laughed hysterically. " Because who knows, they might come to us." He said and then he laughed some more.

And so, the Coronas did nothing and the humans celebrated all day and night. But Alister thought that something was wrong. She wondered, why wouldn't the Coronas send more of their army's since the first one got destroyed? Shouldn't they be mad? Or are they too heartless to care?

" Alis, are you okay?" Alister's mom asked her. " Oh yeah! I'm fine, just needed a little air that's all. It's a bit crowded in there." Alister said. " Oh okay! If you need anything, i'll be in the kitchen!" Her mom said walking back in the house. Alister sighed and started thinking about the Coronians. " One day, some how, some way, I'll obliterate all of their kind. They'll see." Alister said to herself staring at the sky. And she waited. Alister just knew that one day, she'll be the one fighting the Coronians leader by herself. She hoped that humanity would never go through what they had already been through 20 years ago again. " This war will end and i'll be the last one standing on " their" planet."
