2 ESCAPE?

Benda Johanson, who was at her early 60's never once had a good night sleep since her husband, Patrice Johanson went missing that one night, 5 years ago.

"I'll be back till nine", Patrice said as Benda put the coat over his shoulders. " Then we can have a good Thanksgiving dinner". He smiled at Benda and kissed her lips. He put a cigar between his lips as he went outside the door.

"Be careful" Benda shouted.

He waved his hand as the car turned around the corner. And it was the last time she ever saw him.

That night was chilly and the snow began to fall harder. Hiding behind the large dustbin, Benda muttured some lines, knowing the fact that she could be caught any moment.

'This is the last one', she thought. 'And I have to do it'. She stood up from where she was hiding. There were four figures glaring at her. Dark, huge and still. She took the object from her pocket. It was a small, blue colored stone, and was quite dull.

"Yes I was smart but he didn't let me do it for because he was smarter than me". As she was about to thriw the object at them, she felt a huge sudden pain at her back. She turned around just to get another blow on her head. Benda fell down.

"The key ends with you and with you everything ends". The figure came towards her. Benda was crawling as fast as she could, shedding no tears.

"Why don't you ever cry?" The figure lifted its leg and kicked her head.

"I wish you could have loved him more" the figure then kept its foot over Benda's head. It pressed harder.

'I am coming to you Patrice' Benda thought, 'but I am sorry I couldn't do it for you'.

She was feeling more pain, until a cracking sound came. She knew she was dying. And then there was a dead silence. The snow was pooled with her crimson red blood.

The figure joined its palm and uttered something. "Iam sorry Mother" and then it joined the others.

At that Christmas day, there was left a dead body if an old women pooled with blood on white snow, just like the colirs of Christmas.

And the clock striked 12.
