The Dawn I Didn’t Have

Lily Brown, an eighteen years old girl. Fourth and the youngest daughter of Mr. Brown, the founder and chairman of “Brown Conglomerate” who recently appointed Mason Brown, the eldest son as the CEO. The second eldest daughter Jessica, a singer. This beauty has it all to be a singer and rule many hearts. The third one Mary, an Architect rumoured to be dating a celebrity who’s one of her clients. Back to Lily, often termed as the unfortunate one, has spent her whole life in hospital. She’s a victim of persistent asthma since birth. Now, her lung cancer is like a cherry on top to her already miserable life. Her doctors says she can last no longer than a month. Lily, has accepted her fate and is counting her last days. She has no interest in this world or its cruel reality. She reads novels all day long, teleporting herself to a better world. She’s kind of addicted to it. Currently, she’s reading a novel, not so famous. She didn’t intend to read it in the first place, but since it’s her brother’s gift, she is obliged and now indulged into it. It’s a magical fantasy book. The author is anonymous but the way he/she executed it was more than enough for Lily to become a fan. She’s a fan of something else related to the book- Vivienne. A side character, a mere General’s daughter. What makes Lily her fan is, her abilities. Vivienne is a strong, indeed very strong, bold, independent and a very skilled fighter as well. If there’s anything Lily, in her entire miserable life wishes for, then it is being Vivienne for at least a day. Crazy. Yes! but I bet, it’s not as crazy as the turmoil Lily is stuck in her reality…..
