It took ages upon ages for the sons to make their fathers accept them. It took ages upon ages for the daughters to make their mother take a glance at them. It took ages upon ages for the parents to notice the slits on their children's wrists. It took ages upon ages for the parents to see how broken their children were, while they rested upon their opulent thrones in their extravagant mansions on their magical realm. It took ages upon ages for them to discern that it was because of their children that their realms didn't collapse under the weight of the mistakes they made in the mythological world. It took ages upon ages for them to notice their child hanging from the ceiling and yet, they called them a disgrace for being a coward. They failed to recognize their children's hardships, the loneliness, and the amount of hurt they faced due to their negligence. Cowards were they themselves. They, who hid in their mansions and enjoyed their immortal life while their children suffered. It took ages upon ages for them to finally go to their children and care for them – to reward the children for saving them from their own mistakes. But, by then, the children were nothing but a name etched upon a stone in a graveyard, ready to be forgotten.

How many more ages and deaths would it take to break this vicious cycle? How many more ages would children have to suffer the torment?

No more shall the children be suppressed. They will have a voice. Have a voice against their tormentors.

Will you follow the crowd or stand out? Will you stand out for the right? You choose. You choose wisely.
