Wow....she's such a big eater.

"Alright then....let's cook some breakfast," I suggested while stretching my hands, then cracking both of my knuckles.

And, she just followed me, making me burst out of laughter for the first time after 5 years.

"Breakfast?" She asked in confused, followed me towards the kitchen from the back.

"Yup...something you eat at the morning..." I was planning to make English breakfast for her, so I grabbed sausages, bacon, eggs and tomatoes from the fridge.

"It tasted so bad...." She said while pointing her index finger to the eggs in front of me. "And that too..." then to the bacon.

I laugh, "Really?" I looked at her then cracked another smile when saw her made a funny face. "Alright then, I promise I will make it taste better..."

She seemed so excited, especially when she looked at me with those beautiful chestnut eyes. They were just like Mia's...and that look too.

She exactly looks like her, no doubt about it.

Oh come on, Aiden. She isn't her....stop thinking about it, man.

She just observed me cooking the dish from the start till the end, and sometimes I could see her trying to steal the tomatoes from me. But she stopped whenever I made eye contact with her.

As I finished cooking, I put an egg, 3 well-cooked bacon and 3 slices of tomatoes on two plates then brought it to my dining table followed by that girl from my behind.

She wasn't talk much instead just kept observing every of my movement.

"Well...we only have water left...since you already drank all of my juice and milk..."I poured some of water into her glass. "But it's okay, I'll buy more later on..."

"I'm sorry...." she seemed like she was actually sincerely when apologised to me.

"Nah...it's okay...."I said then curved a smile when saw her stared at the fork and knife on both side of her plate.

She seemed so much like a little girl, a cute little girl to be exact.

"Here...follow me," I took the fork and knife then slowly showed her on how to eat by using those utensils. The clueless girl stared at me, then followed what I demonstrated to her. "That's great..."

She smiled, "Thank you..."

Looks like you still know how to say 'Thank you' and 'Sorry' even though you are having amnesia.

I guess she must be a really nice person before losing her memories.

"So what should I call you?" I asked her. "It's kind of rude when I kept calling you, 'You', you know."

She stopped from eating, then lift her head a little so she could look at me, "I really didn't remember anything....but you called me Mia, right? Maybe you know about me."

Her words just made me swallowed hard especially when she said my late girlfriend's name. "I-I...u-uh...actually, that's my girlfriend's name."

"Oh...I'm sorry, I thought you know me after all," she really has no idea that she has the same face as Mia's. "She got a nice name...and sounded so familiar too anyway."

Should I just call her with that name? But if I did, she will keep me remembering of her...

I curved a small smile when saw her was playing with her food after being in a deep thinking about Mia's name.

She looks so innocent.

"Alright then," I finally made my mind. "I'll call you Mia....but only until you remember your name again, is that okay??"

She nodded with a big smile curved on her lips.

"So, Mia..." I continued, getting her attention from playing with the fork. "How did you get into my house anyway?"

I saw her looked onto something from my back side, as she was trying to show something. "What is it?" I actually didn't get what she was trying to show me, but my eyes caught with the piano in the middle of my living room. “The piano??"

"It was the most beautiful sound that I ever heard," she continued. "So I followed where it came from and saw you was sitting there by that thing...and you looked sad."

I was lost at my words as I stared into her beautiful chestnut eyes. I didn't expect that her interest was exactly like Mia's.

"Aiden??" Her voice snapped me out of my thought.

"O-oh y-yes..." I quickly answered her, faking a small smile on my lips. "Sorry about that...."

"Can you show me, like you did last night?" She asked, with her eyes were glimmering as if like she was putting high hopes for me to play the piano for her.

"I-u-umm..." To be honest, I never play to anybody before, beside I promised myself last night was the last time I will play it.

"Please, Aiden..."she practically begged for me.

Should I just break my promise for just this random girl?

God, I never did this kind of thing before. Actually, I never look, care or interact with other girl since Mia's death. Yeah, well…maybe you can say that I was loyal to my late girlfriend. But she's different, she was like changed me...but how??

She's just a stranger....but with Mia's face.

I stared into her chestnut eyes, sometimes imagined that I was looking at my Mia and I really wished that so. But I snapped when heard her voice again, calling my name with a worry tone.

"Are you okay, Aiden?" She asked. "It's okay if you don't want to show me. I really don't mind it..."

Uh-oh....I just made her disappointed of me.

Fine....I will break my promise, but only this time.

"M-Mia...." God, she made me stuttered when called her with that name. "Come, let me show you how I play the piano." I quickly scoot away from my seat then walked towards the piano in the middle of my living room, with Mia was following me from behind.

I gently removed the piano’s fallboard then taking a seat on the piano’s bench with Mia beside of me.

“So this are the keys…*presses random piano’s keys*… every keys have different melody, do you hear that?” I explained to her about the piano.

She nodded as a reply with her eyes never stop looking at me.

*plays notes*

“Right now I’m just playing notes,” I continued. “But when I put this all together….*plays a song*…”

She cuts me in, “It becomes a song…”

“Yeah…a song,” I smiled while still playing her a song. “Seems like you know about piano too, huh…maybe you used to play it before having amnesia.”

She didn’t replied, instead just watching me playing the piano as if like she was so mesmerized with the melody.

She is indeed sharing the same interest as my late girlfriend, but still, she isn’t her.

Keep that in mind, Aiden.

To be continue…
