2 Fresh Air

Barkley is reading comms in command bay, has been since just after the incident with that thing. He didn't want anyone to see but after he had helped store the captains body in medical bay, he cried like he'd never had before. Barkley had never been that scared in his life. That fucking thing moved so fast, the captain was dead before he could react. Good thing it ran off after, it could have killed them all so fast. Barkley needed to get his mind right, needed to work and get them the fuck back to earth. " I need Evan and Sarah back up here " Barkley said to the air. Where were they anyway? How long does it take to patch and come back, not that long. Its been a couple hours at least and he has called twice, no response.

Barkley checked the lock down status of the whole ship. The hull breach has been repaired, Sarah and Evan should be back any second. He would need to tell them about more damage down near the core but that could wait, it looked minimal. According to crew check Adams and Lee were slowly making their way back, Adams was head security chief on board and insisted she find and kill that monster asap. Lee was better in comms than Barkley, but Lee didn't seem to want to be alone. Lee also looked a little shell shocked in Barkleys opinion so maybe some fresh air and a walk around would do her some good.

"Okay, thanks. I'm still trying to hail cooperate but getting nothing. Also No word on Sarah or Evan and no visual cause they didn't take their log pads". "Freaking disaster" he said, before 2-11 had a chance to respond. "I'm sensing stress and anxiety Dr, I'm sure Sarah and Evan are fine. The way the anomaly dispersed leads me to believe it does not want to attack again, it only did so out of fear". "I hope your right 2", Barkley said, "and don't call me Dr, did your programming pick up anything else about the thing?"

Adams and lee came shortly after Barkleys update with his medical assistant android 2-11. Adams was carrying lee and lee looked to be near death and pale. "Jesus, she looks terrible. What happened"? Barkley asked, Adams rolled Lee to him and he laid her on an empty comm array near by. " I'm not really sure," Adams began, "She said she swallowed something while we were checking out the low hold, she wasn't breathing very well as we were nearing the reactor hold so I turned us back." "She passed out right before we got here." Berkeley checked her pulse, she was breathing normal. " I need to get her to med", Barkley said. Barkley jumped on his pad and hailed 2. "2, prepare a med pod, im bringing Lee for emergency evaluation!" "Right away sir!" 2 Aknowldged. "One more thing sir," 2 said quickly. " Yes 2, and please no bad news" Barkley answered. "maybe 2 is just trying to remind me of procedures again," he thought. " I'm not certain it's bad news or not sir, but the captain is awake".
