1 ~~~

~ 2 years before the story starts ~

"Light light light, you're my flash light light light!" I sing while Katelyn and all the girls sing along.

Everyone is Travis' van while we head to Las Vegas to go see the Grand Canyon. A little road trip I guess you could call it. My dad is watching the kids with his new girlfriend in their new house so there's no worry there.

We are passing the famous Las Vegas sign in the middle of the strip when all of a sudden Kawaii~chan squeals. "Guys look! It's a shooting star!"

We all look out of the windows to see the supposed 'shooting star'. It's only two pm, should we be seeing one right now? I though we could only see them during the night.

I'm still singing softly to the song on the radio when static turns on. A deep voice comes on and what it says has me and Aaron in tears. "A nuclear bomb has been launched, if you are listening to this, it's too late. I'm very sorry to all of you." The radio goes dead silent and all I hear is our breaths.

I look to Aaron and he grabs my hand. He pulls over and pulls me to his lap. "Aphmau, everyone else, I love you all." We all nod our heads and hug each other. "Hey, do not be afraid okay? We will all see each other soon after this is all gone!"

We all have tears in our eyes. "I love you Aphmau." Aaron whispers to me as he looks behind me out the windshield. Aaron grabs my waist and kisses me right as the bomb hits the ground.
