8 8. Mora Noir

Rira hung the bag on the table side hook. Getting bored, she leaned on the chair, while looking down at her smartphone. This gadget was a common technology among students nowadays. She has one, while trying to get use to its features and applications. There was not much of information about the smartphone in the past owner' memories, so, she couldn't explore the wonder of it.

' It's look like the past owner' interest in the smartphone not so deep.' Rira thought in wonder. Such a good gadget wasted to someone like (her). Soon, she distracted while try and error in exploring the smartphone features.

Bam!

" Rira! Why don't you answer my call last night?!" A sharp, piercing shout snapped Rira' mind back. She looked up and saw a pretty young girl strode forward while fuming in anger.

The other students smell an incoming drama. They stand at the side to watch the show. The reeling shock from Rira change rised up again.

Mora Noir, the past owner' so called best friend.

Last time, both of them had a fierce argument over a male senior of year three. Well, it is normal for two friends had a crush over the same person. But, Mora Noir take it for granted by insulting her that night.

" Something?" Rira asked out in boredom. Her face didn't show any emotion on it. Thus, it caught Mora Noir off guard. She frowned.

" What's up with that tone of yours? I call you last night, why don't you answer it?" Mora Noir curb her anger, trying to adjust her emotional wreck.

' This bi*tch dare be indifferent at me!'

" It is important if I'm not answering?" Rira put her fist under the chin, looking disinterested and bored.

Mora Noir blows up. " You-...! What's wrong with your attitude? I'm your best friend! Should I need reasons just to call you?"

The argument between Rira and Mora Noir gets heat up. Jiang Li still grumbling over the lost of half bet money, thus, his temper flared up at once.

" Shut up! If you want to fight, go elsewhere!" His cold glare scared Mora Noir greatly. But, she quickly pretends to not get affected.

" I'm sorry, student Jiang Li." Mora Noir nodded, curtly. The man displeased, but didn't pursue any longer. Later, his direction of sight fell on Rira. He frowned.

" Student Rira Alona, don't you think you should apologise for the disturbance you created?" Jiang Li questioned out loud. Mora Noir gloated, but didn't show it on her face. She pretends by showing a worried look instead.

" Hey, just apologies to him. If not because of you, he won't get mad." Mora Noir one-side accusations against Rira amused her to no ends.

Rira smirked, flashing her one-side dimple to others. Her hazelnut eyes sparkling with amusement. Jiang Li's lips twitched.

" Student Jiang Li, which eyes of yours seeing me creating disturbance in the class?" Rira asked. They could detect that someone in bad luck today. Mora Noir bit her bottom lip to stop laughing out loud. What a fool! Jiang Li hates people questioned him back.

" She's your best friend, student Rira Alona. You should bear the fault together." Jiang Li said with an upright tones, as if teaching her to always stay together in pain and gain.

Rira laugh out loud. Her laughter rang throughout the classroom, creating an illusion of ringing bells. Jiang Li grit his teeth in anger. Rira was too much for slapping him in the public.

" Ah, I didn't know you can befriended with people who insulting your parent. If you can do that, then I respect your tolerance and mentality." Rira stopped at once while looking back her smartphone.

Jiang Li and other students collectively stupefied at this sudden reversal. Mora Noir scared, cursing Rira Alona in her heart. Before long, Jiang Li snapped back from his awkward moment.

" This...student Mora Noir, is it true?" Facing off the questioning tones of Jiang Li, Mora Noir felt guilty.

" That...I don't mean it. I'm too mad at that time, so I...I accidentally said hurtful things to her. Rira, I'm sorry. Don't be mad, alright." Mora Noir quickly turned the students' attention back to Rira. She hopes Rira could be her step-stone to gain back her almost destroyed reputation.

" Then, gives me a thousand and one reasons why should I forgive you." Rira replied with a bored tone. The other students gasped and fell into another heated discussion.

Mora Noir' face turned green and red with humiliation. Jiang Li takes a deep breath to control himself from cursing out loud. This woman dare to use him to teach her friend a lesson!

" You-...! You're too much! Rira, we're friends! Just forgive me this once. I promise I won't do that again." Mora Noir pleas for forgiveness to gains sympathy from their classmates.

This is what Mora Noir wants to see the most. A weak, wrongful girl apologies for her mistakes, but cold-heartedly rejected by her friend. She wants to show the others how unforgiving Rira Alona was. Her goal was to create a bad reputation for Rira!
