5 5. New daily routine

The next morning, Rira wokes up earlier than usual. It had shocked Alric so much that he almost burst into tears. He thought Rira wanted to help him to prepare breakfast, but to his surprise, Rira went out for a morning jog.

" Morning, daddy." This time, Rira stops calling Alric 'father' to avoid the poor man from shedding manly tears.

" Good morning, Rira. You're early, today." Although it's quite rare for her to wake up early in the morning, Alric readily accept it as the way of Rira to start her new daily routine.

It's a good routine, anyway.

" Yes. Wanna join me for around, daddy?" Rira invite him out while tying her soles up. She stood up, stretching her body with a backward bending.

Alric laughed, but reluctantly refuses her kind invitation. " Not today, love. Daddy needs to go out for a check on new items. Maybe next time." He sighed.

" Alright. Be careful while driving. I will go first. Bye." After doing a warm up stretching, Rira waved a goodbye and went off the road.

" Bye, and be careful!" Alric shouted while looking at the retreating back of his daughter. He takes back his gaze after Rira gone from his sight.

When he turned his eyes towards the door, he saw the only son of his standing at the doorstep with a dumbfounded look. His hand still holding the brush teeth with foam.

" That...is that second sister?" Raymond rubbing his sleepy eyes in disbelief.

Since when second sister likes jogging and exercise? Raymond thought that he still dreaming at this moment. Alric rolls his eyes, but didn't comment out.

After two kilometres of running, Rira come back, sweating. The past life habit was hard to forget. Previously, she would do many type of morning exercises and training with her fellow brothers.

Although she wanted to shed herself from the previous life matter, something good like stay healthy and strong is not that bad. She reborn in a rather peaceful time, but danger still existed. It's better than sorry.

Here, she was vulnerable to any kind of sickness and illness, mentally and physically exposed to the unknown danger. She might be once an ace warrior, but was no longer in this life.

Not yet.

Rira stood facing the big two stories house with a complex feeling. In this house, lives three other members of the family. She would do everything to protect this warm family with her life. Since she reborn as their daughter, then she might be live to the fullest.

Rira stands at the door for a couple of seconds before push it open and went in. " I'm home."

" Ah, welcome back! Come over to eat with us! Daddy cooked so many food today. I wonder if we could finished it in time." Rita sighed while looking at the table filled with foods. Raymond also helpless. Rira chuckled, but didn't say anything or comment out.

Alric indeed went overboard while cooking this morning. It shows that his mood was so good today. Rita and Raymond knew the reason why. Rira could only predict it was because of her sudden changes.

" Oh, well. Whatever. Bon appetite, then." Rita pulled the chair to sit. Raymond poured the hot chocolate drink in each mugs. Rira went upstairs to change her school uniform. Today is her first day goes to school after reborn yesterday.

After freshen up, Rira went out with a schoolbag hanging in her hand. She stroll down the stairs, while loosening two buttons of her school uniform off. It was very uncomfortable to wore it tightly until her neck. Soon, she entered the dining room.

" Say, two days ago, there's an accident happened around your school, right? What's the matter?" Rita asked while chewing on the bread. Rira sat beside Raymond and pick up a cup of hot chocolate drink.

Raymond shakes his head, " It's not my school. It's happen near second sister's school. Well, it's a gang fight case."

" What?" Rita shocked. Rira frowned as she remember this case that happen two days ago. The previous body owner only hear this rumour from her peers. So, she couldn't gain any useful information regarding the case at all.

" The school didn't do anything? Like letting the students went home early or something?" Rita felt uneasy. A gang fight means trouble. Mafia groups was nothing new for them. Camelia City wasn't that peaceful anyway.

" Well, its settled already. The fight was only from two small gangs in the area. The police arrest them on the spot. There's nothing big, sis. Calm down." Raymond amused at his elder sister overreacting over the small gangs fight. Well, he couldn't blame her for worrying much.

" You can't blame me for worrying, Ray. It's still a gang fight even it was from small gangs. I hope both of you could take care of yourselves and avoid from involving in this kind of thing." Rita points out at them with a stern look. Raymond laugh.

" Alright. We promise."

" I know what to do."

Both Raymond and Rira answer in different ways, but still in line with her expectations. Soon, they finish eating.

The three siblings crowding the front gate, with Rita sending them off. " We're going, sis." Raymond waved a goodbye, while Rira leaned over the wall brick also waving her goodbye. The two went off to school. Rita could only pray for the two to be safe out there.

Rira pulled out an earphone, tugging it on her ears. After settling on her favourite songs list, she push the iPad into her uniform pocket.

Had nothing to talk about, the two brother and sister does their own thing.
