15 15. New student

The alarm clock blared so loudly, startling the already awake Rira. She forgot to switch off the alarm right after she woke up minutes ago. Looks like her biology clock much faster than the clock itself. She reached out and put it off.

She climbed off the bed to start another schoolday. She felt fresh after the night training and forced-sparring with Xavier Lu. Thinking about that irritating man, the dislike went to another level. She huffed and moves towards the bathroom. After getting ready, a school-ready Rira stepped out of the bedroom. She tied her school coat around her waist. The school bag draped carelessly on her left shoulder. She left her still damp hair down to air-dry it. Too lazy to use hairdryer.

The delicious aroma of food wafted to her nose as soon as she opened the bedroom door. She went down and saw Alric and Raymond, sitting at the dining table, drinking hot coffee and milk tea while waiting for her.

" Morning, daddy. Morning, Ray." She greeted and moved towards the chair beside Raymond.

" Morning, dear." Alric quickly poured the warm milk out into the glass. Raymond push a plate of toast to her, gesturing for her to eat.

" You're not exercising today?" Alric asked.

" I did it last night," Rira took the nut spread and swept it on the toast.

" Daddy much prefer it if you do the exercises at morning time, dear. It's dangerous at night." Alric sighed. Rira chuckled.

" Don't worry, daddy. I'm physically stronger than you might think." Rira beamed, making Raymond choked on his food.

" Yeah, right. If you're physically strong, then I'm mentally retarded to believe it." Raymond scoffed. Rira glared at him, causing the chaos on the dining table with the siblings throwing foods at each other.

" Alright, stop it you two!" Alric shook his head, looking helplessly at the messy table. He has nothing to complaint about their skills in kitchen area. But, he always had a headache about their messy table manners.

" Clean it before you go to school. No skipping!" He quickly caught Raymond trying to escape. Rira laughed and started cleaning the table. Not long, the two went off to school. Another big day to start.

By the time she reached the school gate, her hair dried completely. Using the hair band on her wrist, she tied her haid in a messy bun style. She might not be a beauty of the world, but worthy enough to seduce a bent man into straight.

She enhanced her lips with a lip balm, creating natural cherry colour. This world had so many interesting things, such as makeup. In her previous world, rouge was something for a noble woman used. As for her, using rouge akin to pasting white to her slightly dark skin. Her beauty always for battlefield, not for men.

Her every moves exuded laziness, together with her laid-back attitude, her lips hung up a lazy charm, creating a lack of interest towards others. Rira moved towards the class and saw a group of students gathered in front of her classroom. Her eyebrows rose with interest on it.

However, they standing like human gate wasn't something she likes. " Move it,"

She said with a commanding tone. The gathered students frozen in their place. They stiffly turned and saw her smiled lazily behind them. They quickly opened a way for her to move. They heard a rumours about her doing arms wrestling with John Lee, and won it in a beautiful way.

They maybe didn't see the scene, but hear it enough to let them know Rira Alona had ability to fight. Who is John Lee? A school athlete and prefecture winner in Wushu. His strength widely known and it put him as the strongest player on school level.

Back to the present, Rira finally realized why those students making fuss earlier in the morning. A new student moved into her school. A girl and a beautiful one at that. She chuckled, but didn't comment out. She sat down while hooking the bag on the table side.

Her deskmate, Julia Rose put down her book on the table and glance beside her. Since Rira Alona undergo a great change in character days ago, Julia Rose no longer have a nonchalant attitude towards her.

" Not interested?" Julia Rose asked, plainly. Rira raise an eyebrow in wonder.

" In what?" She asked back while typing a message to Raymond. The boy asking about her arriving safely in the class. He acted like some worrywart old man.

" The new girl," Julia Rose turned over and looked at the back seat with a fist under her chin.

" I'm a girl myself," Rira rolled her eyes. She felt this question was a bit dumb and foolish. She a girl herself, so what the use of her interested in a girl? Julia Rose choked, looking unbelievable at Rira.

" That was not what I meant," Really? This girl had a crazy thinking. Julia Rose sighed, causing Rira to laugh.

" I know. Chill~" She put back her phone into her pocket. She lean forward to the table, putting her fist underneath her chin. Her nonchalant looks was so charming and looked lazy.

" Are you free after school? Since the start period of quarantine, I felt bored at home. Wanna go somewhere for fun?" Julia Rose didn't put the school warning about the gang fights into her heart. She bored to death!

" Where?" Rira asked and glanced at her.

" Game arcade!" Then, Julia Rose put down two tickets on the table. Rira looked at the tickets in wonder. " This ticket...?"

" A movie. New one."

" Fine," She agreed without thinking much.
