Chapter 13

His body toppled backward. My father was dead. I was still staring at the body and bloody knife, when my mother tried to attack me, but my brother snatched the knife out of my hands and stabbed her. I knew she was there. I was about to turn around and stab her, but my brother took the kill away from me, that kind of made me angry for a weird reason. Then we realized what we had done. We had just triggered our werewolf curse.
