Surprising Mystery turns into a True Nightmare

As I wake up from my bed, I am aware of the coolness of the air and its earthen aroma. Then after doing my morning chores and shower, I am dressed in my new birthday dress.

I went to granny's room to get my surprise gift she said about me yesterday.

"Oh! Fang come in, you look so pretty in this dress" granny said kissing me on my forehead.

"Granny where is my gift that you said," I asked like a kid waiting for a birthday present.

"I will but it's not here, we should go to some other place," she said signaling me to follow her.

I followed her to the ground floor of our house where the storage room is built. We store all the old stuff and much of the old furniture we don't use.

She took me deep into the room where the antique and old boxes of wood are standing tall along with the height of the room.

She said me to open a box which is kept alone aside. I opened it to reveal all the old stuff and some clothes. She asked me to pick the yellow cloth which is rolled. I took it and gave it to granny.

"Do you know what this is?" she asked opening the rolled cloth.

"No" I nodded

"This is your fate," she said looking at me

"What," I said perplexed

"Yes, you heard it right your fate is written on this piece of cloth," she said making me sit on the old dusty chair beside me. She sat on another chair next to me.

"Granny what are you saying, I don't understand a single word of what you are saying," I said little panic in my tone.

"Don't get panic, my child, you are born for a reason in this family?" she said patting my back

"I will tell you everything but before that, you need to be strong."

"Ours is an Aristocratic family. Our ancestors are all Kings.

"We hail from Thailand, Our family is one of the Royal families there until 500 years ago"

"What, what is this so stupid? I shouted showing a fake angry, being panic inside."

"It is true fang, it happened with the first girl child born after the curse. She died giving birth to a child at the age of 18"

"After her, no girl is born in this family. You are the only girl born after 900 years. All these years our ancestors made sure that only Boys are born."

"But after hundreds of years when you born, I was sure that this Curse will be revoked by you, Your Horoscope tells the same"

"What rubbish granny, don't trick me on my birthday," I said frustrated with her words.

"Am I a small kid or your age group to trick you about such an important thing?" she said with an angry tone.

I took deep breaths and kneel down before granny and said "granny, what made you think that I can revoke a sin which is hovering us from 1000 years and all these curses will work these days?" I questioned her with a pathetic look

"What, I should get married when I turn 18?"

"Granny, how is this possible, can any man will live without touching a woman?"
