9 Trouble
Master Egon had killed the last man they were interogating before Walter left. It was his intentions to spear him but the man tried attacking him making master Egon furious and he dropped dead. He rushed to where Hedy was been attacked in a bid to help Walter incase he needed it. To his surprise neither Walter nor Hedy was there. He looked around and saw only 4 dead bodies out of 5 men that had attacked Hedy.
Walter!! Hedy!! he called on them but there was no response anywhere.
He became confused as panic cripped into his mind
"What on earth happened to them?"
"How can they disappear just like that or could it be there was another set of hired men that they had to kidnap the princes?"
"How was he going to search and find them?"
These were the questions he kept asking himself as he searched around the place confused on the next step to take.
He decided to head back to the caves maybe they had gone there , there he will be able to ponder over things well and come up with a good plan and ofcourse seek the help of Leo his trusted friend if need be.

Walter rode as fast as he could hoping to get to the palace right in time for Hedy. He had no idea where the palace was all he knew was that he would get there.
Taking the road him and master Egon had come into Tabor forest from it was not too long before they found themselves in Tolaria.
All his speeding did was draw people's attention and making everyone turn to look and wonder who it was and why he was speeding so fast.
He had stopped twice to ask for the direction of the palace.
Not too long after the last person he asked for direction on the road he got to a check point there he was stopped by some soldiers.
He had to stop for their usual checking. They were assigned to check whoever was to pass that area because it was close to the palace.
"Sir who are you and why are you speeding this fast" one of the soldiers who seem to be their head asked him
"My name is Walter, Am sorry for speeding so fast, it is because am in a hurry, it's a matter of life and death so I had to speed in other to reach where am going to" he replied.
The soldiers took a glance at each other before coming closer to his carriage to inspect it.
"Where are you heading to?" the same man asked him again
" Am heading to the palace" he replied
Deep down in his heart he was hoping that they don't get to the point of asking where he was headed to as well as checking his carriage because that would be a scandal for him, but then the dreaded question popped out....
"What business do you have in the palace and what is in your carriage Sir?" a second soldier asked.
Without completing his question he went right to the back of Walter's carriage and removed the curtains to see what was inside.
On sighting prince Hedy laying lifeless inside the carriage he let out a scream
"Ahhh my prince, what has he done to you!!!
Running back to the others and shouting.…..
"sieze him!! sieze him!! this man is a criminal!!!, he has killed our prince and has the guts to carry his corpse in his carriage!!!!"
"Sieze him I say!! he will pay dearly for what he has done!!!!"
When the others heard what he was saying they immediately grabbed Walter to make sure he didn't escape, then they each ran to the back of the carriage to see for themselves. One of the soldiers hurriedly climbed up into the carriage to check if the prince was still alive as ordered by their leader and head.....
"He is still alive and breathing" he voiced out to the others
" Let's head to the palace fast so he will be treated at once" the leader ordered.
Walter at that moment knew he was in a deep mess as no form of explanation was going to save him. None of them knew who he was nor would they believe him even if he tried to speak, only his family knew and would believe him. But there was no time to think about what he has fallen into he was more concerned about Hedy's condition and how he was going to be saved from dying.
He was ready to face whatever came his way from the soldiers until he has access to his parents.
The soldiers wasted no time in beating and tieing him up. They immediately carried both him and Hedy straight to the palace.
Getting to the palace they alerted the Chief Of security Commander Hans. He was to inform the king of the situation at hand. They immediately sent a messenger to inform the Queen that something had happened to the prince and he is been taken straight into the Royal family's treatment chambers where the Royal doctors were already waiting to receive the prince and commence treatments on him.
The chief of security Commander Hans knew the king had travelled so he commanded that Walter be thrown into the prison and thoroughly tortured pending when the king comes back to decide what his fate will be.
