Masquerade

"Is Anyone there?" Audrey said acting like heroine In a horror movie, It was so hilarious, not gonna lie.

As we walked in, we came across a huge a ballroom and all of us went speechless after seeing the scene, A whole damn 'masquerade' was going on.

"Holy shit" Tony Said almost gasping up. It was scarcely credible.

"How on Earth is this even possible, No proof can convince me that this is non fictional." Dino said. He wasn't wrong, hundreds people elegantly dresses with huge ball gowns and suits, hats and masks. It feels like it all from fairytale. The ballroom and all the decor was itself dreamy. I'm preety sure it was more fabulous than the Cinderella ballroom.

"I'm feeling as if I'm in some Harry Potter Movie." James commented.

'My life on itself has become a movie' I murmured to myself.

Just then a thin Gentleman approached us.

"Bonjour mademoiselle et monsieur" He said in a very warm and cozy way. His presence had some hypnosis in the air, all of us somehow got comfortable and chill at that very instant.

(*'Bonjour' stands for hi in French and 'mademoiselle et monsieur' stands for Miss and Mr in French respectively*)

"We actually came.... here..... to take shelter..... from the rain and the thunderstorm......" Mr Hernandez started up justifying things.

"Monsieur please calm down, No explaining justification needed. It really hard for people to find the route of this Castle, But if you did it's a gift of destiny." The man in suit said

" que bobagem você está dizendo? " Alan said In angry face to Professor Hernandez. We honestly had no idea what he was speaking, But Alan was the only one who wasn't calm at all.

( * 'que bobagem você está dizendo?' means In Portuguese 'What nonsense he is speaking.'*)

"quieto" Mr Hernandez replied back. All this point all of us understood that Mr Hernandez is saying Quiet to Alan.

"Mas...." Alan seems objecting.

"Quieto" Mr Hernandez striked back angrily. Alan seems disappointed.

James leaning on me asked, "What's even happening, What are they arguing about?"

"No clue, I don't know Portuguese." I said simply smiling.

"You clothes are dripping wet with water, It would be better if you all change and enjoy the ball and have delicious food." The Gentleman said.

"Ohhhh thank you so much but... you don't have to.... you see." Professor Hernandez continue

"it's totally fine you all are our guest and serving our guest is our duty which we ought to do." The Gentleman said with a smile on his face.

"But-" Alan tried to object again.

"Sheeesh, enough Alan with your tantrums." Professor Hernandez said. I was feeling very odd and I could have understood rationality and logic, But my body had literally realized a tons of oxytocin which made me think it was fine to trust the Gentleman."

"Come this side" The Gentleman said and took us on the beautiful stairs.

"The architecture is just mind blowing, It looks like it was recently restored. I would love to come again and study this place." I started blabbering.

"Serena, this isn't the time to think about all this. I find something really fishy here." Jared said.

Now I was getting cautious about situation.

"The girls closet room is there" The Gentleman man said pointing it the room to me and Audrey and went to show the guy's room to the guy's.

All we opened the door, the view was enchanting. The room was fulled with 15teen to 17teen centuries gowns of different dresses of different patterns, colours and sizes.

"It's unbelievable" Audrey said going to the room

"I swear to God." I said agreeing with Audrey for the prime time.
