6 The truth

After Jacob's kiss, I was so happy. We finally kissed and maybe we can really be together this time. I like him so much and hope he can see me in the same way now.

The next day, the chemistry teacher made teams and she put me whit Edward. We were rushing to finish the test until he distracted me.

—I saw you with Jacob yesterday. I told you I know you're softer inside.

—Wha-what you saw?

—Well... I know he kissed you and you didn't stop him.

—Why would I stopped him if I like him?

—Cause he's a jerk, sweetie.

—First, don't call me like that. And second, you will see his better than you think.

—Wanna bet with me?

—Of course.

—So sure you are? What do you want to lose then?

—Mmm tell me what you want

—A kiss.

—Never.

—I thought you were pretty sure. —said laughing.

—Well, I'll kiss you if you win. But you will give me a...

—No way. —said him interrupting me.

—Hey, let me finish.

—I'll let you finish if you win.

After class, I ran to searching Jacob with Jeanne as always. When we found him, he seemed a little distant, as if he wanted to pretend nothing happened between us.

—Jacob.

—Elizabeth, how are you?

—I'm Okay. What about you?

—I'm perfect. How are you, Jeanne? You look a little depressed.

—Well, I wasn't lucky to love today.

—What happened?

—My crush just rejected me again.

—Well, he's an asshole, you're the best girl I know and I bet whoever will be lucky to be with you. I mean, look at you, you're perfect!

—Thank you, Jake, you're so nice to me.

—I couldn't be in a different way having you in front of me darling. —said hugging her.

For that moment I was jealous enough so I just left before I started to cry.

—Well, I see you two are having a good time. I'll give you some privacy. —said walking away but they just ignored me.
