35 Author's Note

Hi people! It's me, Hiraki Mitsuha. I'm sorry for not uploading chapters today but rest assured! I'm going to publish chapter tomorrow, probably.

So, I have a new story here in Webnovel called "Petal Cicada: The Love Beyond Petals" and it was based on the fictional disease called Hanahaki. Actually, I planned to publish this story after I finish TCV but I can't stop myself from continuing this story lol. So, I might as well promote this one as well.

Here is the synopsis:

A story of the outcast and alienated Luca Tanaka, saved by the strong-willed and kind boy, Kisaki Tachibana. As the time goes by and the two were friends, until Luca Tanaka finds himself that he was in love by his only one friend, Kisaki Tachibana. Kisaki was unsure of his feelings towards Luca and thought that he was in love by his long-time crush, Aoki Sato. After being told that by Kisaki about him having feelings with Aoki, Luca broke down and cried, until a sudden pain swelled up his chest. As he coughed, petals came out of his mouth. He quickly thought that Hanahaki disease that once told by his foster father was true, a disease that a person coughed petals once experienced unrequited love.

His body fell weak, and a few weeks later after he was rejected by Kisaki, he was in a verge of dying. Kisaki found out that he was sick,he was shocked when he looked at Luca on a bed full of petals. The imagery itself is beautiful, but the pain in his chest is unbearable. He was in love with Luca, but realized that it was too late. Tears swelled up in his eyes as he kept muttering this words, "I love you."
