Chapter 2 - I will play your game

'I'm damn f*cked up' Basil cursed inside his head...

He already expected that the previous owner of this body was some genius youth of a clan or whatever, but he doesn't really expect that this b*stard was very popular, In the entire empire, almost everybody knows him, especially with his identity as fiance of the crowned princess so basically he was already a part of a royal scheme inside the palace, He is definitely sure that they have already spies everywhere around him and they will definitely know that something has happened to Klyn (The previous owner of the body).

'No, something is not right, Why is it Crowned princess rather than Crown prince, Why did I become her fiance, damn it! Why I am thinking of this, I must set my priorities first,

My main objective, for now, is to gather as much as I can before I make my move...' Basil thought.

"How long did I sleep?" Basil asked the butler.

"Sir, we found you last three days ago and have been unconscious." The butler answered, and he was confused as to why did Young master be unconscious for a whole 3 days because he didn't even suffer heavy injuries but only superficial, the young master had definitely healed it already because it was nothing serious.

"Tell me, what happened to me and more about our situation?" Basil asked another question.

"We suddenly lost contact with you five days ago, You suddenly disappeared. We know that was it not in your nature that you will leave without a goodbye but rather something had happened to you, as the fiance of the crowned princess, It was really obvious that it was the enemies of the princess who was trying to eliminate you.

"Thankfully, we found you just two days later you had disappeared. You were just unconscious and suffered only superficial wounds."

"We didn't tell the Matriarch because if she found out, There is a high possibility that she will lose her temper and definitely start a war with the other Houses, even if she did not lose her temper, We will be adding more burdens on her shoulder that she had to carry as the head of the House. "We were at a stalemate back then but the emperor interrupted by declaring you as the fiance of princess, Nobody knows the reason why he intervened but this reduced a lot of pressure giving us but it doesn't mean that we are already safe, The emperor might be plotting against our family even though we didn't clash or enemies of the royal family."The butler finished explaining to the young master.

The Butler first saw a surprised expression and then calm but then another surprised expression.

'what happened to the young master?'the Butler though.

"What is your name?" The young master asked the butler.

"Roderick Voss is my name, Young master or you could just call me whatever you want." The butler bowed.

"I will call you Rod then, you may leave now." Basil waved off his hands and nodded.

"I want to continue my rest, for now, I will call you if I need something, Instruct the others not to interrupt my rest, No one is allowed too."

Rod nodded and went to open the door before he completely closed the door, Rod peeked for the last time to see the expression of the young master.

Klyn just leaned on his chair and looked again in the window.

Klyn was just sitting there but he suddenly looked towards Rod and made eye contact and coldly spoke.

"What are you looking at here? Are you disobeying my orders?"

Causing the butler to be frozen on the spot.

After a while, the butler apologized and closed the door, as Rod walked through the corridors.

Rod felt his legs weak causing him difficulty walking, his hands shaking and out of breath.

"Is it really you? Did you change or is this the real you?" the butler murmured.

After the butler had left, Klyn suddenly groaned.

Seriously, he didn't even told me anything regarding myself except fot the fact I am genius and people want me dead.

"What the f*ck do you want system! I just came here and you suddenly gave me a f*cking mission! I don't even have enough information! And you give me a goddamn mission, that could lead me to my death!"

Earlier while the butler was explaining, A notification popped up.

System Tasks updated:

First quest "Oh sweet revenge."

First Mission: Eliminate the other houses

Secondary mission: Find out the reason of your uncle's death

Main mission: (Complete the First and secondary mission to unlock the main mission)

System's Note: if you fail this quest within three months, you will not die but I will make you sure you wished too.

'F*ck you, system!'

While Klyn was cursing at the system. Somewhere in the capital of Konozia, inside a dimly lighted room.

Two bodies are intertwined in a bed.

"My dear, I love you, but," the woman said passionately but her eyes carried complex emotions.

"I love you too, Vanessa." The young man replied by cutting her sentence.

"I know you are worried about your father finding out about our relationship... Don't worry, In the next month, No one in the empire will oppose us and we don't need to hide our relationship anymore." the man resolutely said.

"Yes, I believe you." the woman sweetly smiled.

"And by the way, I have already hunted that bastard." the man said causing the woman to be surprised and shocked.

"You hunted him! How!? Did you get any injuries or anything!?" the woman worriedly asked.

"I am fine, I have managed to heavily injure his soul and he will be dead by now." the man reassuringly said.

"What if he didn't die? what will happened if father found out about it? the woman anxiously asked

"Even if he didn't die, he will certainly become retarded but I will still prefer if he died."

"What if he didn't die or lose his memories?" the woman asked again.

"Then we will just run." The man said with a teasing smile.

'No one is allowed to touch my woman, even if you are some heavenly genius or the god emperor. I'll make sure you suffer.'

'Oh system, what do you want from me? Do you really think I am afraid of your threats!'

Basil roared inside his head

'Hehe host, you may not be afraid, but do you still wish to meet your parents again?' The system said to him causing Basil to shut up.

'Nothing is impossible, I have managed to bring you here, do you really think it's impossible for me to bring you back?'

Basil was silent and let the system continue.

'Just complete your tasks and in the future, maybe you will meet your parents again but if you fail, hehe...' the system chuckled coldly.

'You could just think of this as a game, a very hard one. If you win, you will have the chance to meet your parents again but if you fail, you will never have that chance again, and they will even have to suffer from your stead instead hahaha!' the system coldly laughed inside, causing Basil to shiver.

'Just win this game, Basil, I just hope you win this one or else, you will just suffer."

After that, the system went silent and didn't speak again.

"Ok system, I will play your goddamn game."
