Chapter 1- Why are you here!?!?!?
I was coming home from work on a dark stormy night.
It was cold and of course I didn't bring an umbrella, there wasn't a cloud in the sky this morning.
"Hey loser!"
Sighing I ignored her annoying voice.
"Your gonna catch a cold out here..."
looking to my side I found her, the bane of my existence.
She was 4'11" with long black hair in a French braid. She wore all black and a leather jacket with silver chains hanging from her belt loops.
"So? Maybe then I can get some time off."
"Ha! All you know how to do is work Connar."
"Why are you here Kara?"
"Oh its such a lovely night, so peaceful. So I thought I would come by and piss you off."
"Was wondering why you didn't stop by my old man's store..."
Kara Strauss, Rich daddies girl. Shes a trust fund baby her father is a rich millionaire who spends all his time overseas. But for some unknown reason she wastes her time coming to my dad's souvenir shop and buys everything in the vending machine.
It takes me HOURS to fill that vending machine, HOURS!! Then she laughs and gives all the snacks to the kids outside the store.
She watches me fill it every fucking day... I wish she would just disappear sometimes.
"I was wondering..."
"What?"
"Do maybe wanna grab some coffee?"
"Hell no. Last time you 'invited' me somewhere you miraculously forgot your wallet. I hadn't gotten paid yet and had to work there for 5 HOURS."
"That's not what I... Nevermind Lose-"
A thunder clap rang loudly out from the clouds as the began to grow brighter amd brighter.
Closing my eyes for a second I opened them again only to find myself in a large snowy plain.
"Where the hell am I?"
Looking to my left I found that Kara was gone, and to my right I saw a massive gate.
"This makes no sense...."
The gate was made of finely crafted wood painted over with a bright red color. A golden dragon statue wrapped around the left pillar and peered down at the ground infront of the gate entrance.
"I know he's here somewhere... The hell that child go!"
Turning around I was met with a hairy chest. I took a step back and gazed up at the mountain of a man.
He had a long black beard that eas slightly silver on the ends. Clouds seemed to wrap around his waist like a belt, he held 6 swords around his waist but none seemed to be used very much.
The most off putting about him was his piercing yellow eyes that glowed a dim golden light.
"Connar Moretti. 19 Years old and a college drop-out. Makes ends meet by working at Dads slow gift shop. Had a major thing for Goth girls."
"Doesn't everyone? Hold on a second Cloud man! Who are you, where am I?"
Taking a long pipe out of his bag he placed it to his lips. snapping his fingers a small light flared to life on the tip of his pointer finger.
"I'm not normally the god who does this kind of thing. I normally just strike the earth with lightning."
"THAT WAS YOU!?!?!?!"
Balling up my fist I lunged at him. Disappearing from my view I fell to the puffy floor.
"Yeah, and in sorry you happened to be on a date with your girlfriend when you got the big shock."
"Fuck you man."
"Yeah yeah big talk from a Human..."
"So, you said you were a god. Like THE god?"
"Im a deity of the shinto pantheon. I am God of raging storms. Susanoo."
"Like the guy who cant even beat his sister in a fight?"
"I'll wipe the floor with your tongue human!! Oh you're making this so hard!"
"Does it matter? I'm dead dumb dumb. Nothing matters anymore."
"Okay Your edginess. Basically what I've been trying to say is that it was my fault so Izanagi is making me give a 'Do Over'."
"A do over?"
"You watch anime?"
"Does Digimon count?"
Slapping his face he sighed.
"Human, in all seeing and all knowing. I know you've seen most of this Isekai genre."
"So what? I get to go to a new fantasy world?"
"Exactly."
"W-With magic and shit?"
"With magic and shit."
Nodding at me he smiled.
"Not only will there be magic, but you get to start off with a fraction of a gods skills. You get to use magic I designed myself."
"I didn't peg the great god of storms as a closet nerd."
The fierce god of storms furrowed his brow.
"Izanagi also wanted me to offer you something else but if keep insulting me I could always reincarnate you as oh I don't know, a Frog perhaps?"
Taking a knee I began to shivers.
"SORRY OH GREAT AND MERCIFUL GOD STORMS. uh sir."
Smirking he looked down at me and with a wave of his hands we appeared thousands of feet up above the earth. Or what looked kinda like earth but... How do I put this?
Oh look see I saw a dragon, Like a giant flying Lizard!?!?!
"Yes yes I know how crazy, but can you move the inner monolog along. I might be immortal but I haven't got all day."
"Yes sorry your godliness."
"On to the thing Izanagi wished for me to impart on you."
Standing up he waved his hand and we were in my room.
"Listen well as I mean to say this once. You may bring one thing with you. any object item or creature of your choice with you."
I Raised an eyebrow.
"Anything?"
"Anything."
"Like ANYTHING??"
"YES."
"Even..."
"Ew gross human but yes. Even can of baked beans. But take your time, I don't think that would be a wise decision."
I sat down on my bed scratching my head I thought about it.
In every anime people bring generic things like, a smartphone, a gun, their best friend... But if I had to choose what would I, a sane person take with him?
tabling the subject I need to vent.
How come this bull crap happen to me every time Kara shows up?!?! HuH!!!!! It's like she pops up and something happens, the sink breaking in the store flooding the entire building. Or the power goes out, and let's not forget I LITERALLY GOT STRUCK BY LIGHTNING!!!!

Hold on one dam minute...
Ha HA!!!
I pray on your downfall Kara Strauss.
"Mister god sir I know what I wish to take with me to this knew world."
"Name your thing."
Puffing out my chest I smiled an evil grin.
"I wish to bring Kara Strauss with me to the other world!"
"And you are completely locked in on your answer?"
If I looked any more devious I would have horns and a tail...
"100% Locked in, Key has been swallowed."
Clapping his hands togeather he spoke loudly as if shouting to the world.
"Then it shall be done!"
A flash of light blinded me and when it faded Kara Strauss sat right next to me.
"Where the hell am I?"
Susanoo snapped his fingers and we were back above the weird new earth.
"Enjoy the life thay awaits you in your new World Connar Moretti. Faevile awaits you!"
The ground we stood on became air and we immediately began plummeting down towards the surface of Faevile.
Looking over at Kara I grinned. She glanced over through gritted teeth as we were falling.
"Did that guy say were in another world???"
"OH YEAH GET WRECKED LOSER!!! MY REVENGE MEANS WERE STUCK HERE TOGEATHER MUWAHAHA!!!!"
She smiled as we began falling faster.
"THIS IS AMAZING! ITS LIKE ONE OF THOSE ANIMIES. THIS IS AWESOME!!!"
