1 CHAPTER 1-Birth I
As decades passed since the war, there were good and bad moments . There was joy and sadness , tears and laughter . For some they've moved on , but the other stuck in their sick emotion . The war caused hundreds of lives lost . From the 7 Great Kingdoms , to the no name royalties . The side of heaven had won , and took those hundreds of souls to the pearly gates . The side of heaven had won , and left those in hell in a state of trauma . How could they not , it was considered another death .
Decades have passed , the war caused a whole area of The Great Lord Satan's ruling land to be dammed with an unlivable environment . The Field of War brought sad memories to those who've lost their loved one . The one in mind was The Hundred Legged Supreme , Lord Lazek . The one who controls the most powerful beast of hell . It was considered legendary , as it was one of a kind . Lazek was the only one who had control of the beast and it's kind . The centipede's power was too strong for Lazek that in the end , it had caused him his life , and ending the life of hundred legged insects in hell .
"The war between heaven and hell, it happened so quickly . Some say it felt like the event lasted for a second , with a blink of an eye , the whole area destroyed by an explosion . We were told by survivors that it was caused by Lord Lazek's rampage . As a supreme , it was known to have 3 tier of power . However , Lord Lazek was able to obtain a fourth tier power . It's truly remarkable , something that the elders find it impossible, the lord achieved it all . Too powerful to control, it controlled Lord Lazek in the end".
Several young officials from different kingdoms sat listening to stories told by a senior storyteller in the middle . The story told was at least 40 years ago or so . To this day still , the lord in mind is still talked about . Some were kind , some blurted out vile comments . But the lord remained as the most powerful of all . "Mr. Storyteller , do you know how Lord Lazek could obtain a fourth form ? Did the elders ever find a reason for his fourth evolution ?", a young official asked .
"Unfortunately they haven't. And to this day still, it's a rumour that the Great Lord Lucifer is still searching for the lord . Oh poor his soul , The Great Lord Lucifer was affected the most by his death . The Great Lord never gave up searching , he still believed that the lord indeed is still behind The Gates of Hades".
It was a known fact that the strong reaper was The Great Lord Lucifer's love interest . The two were together for most of the time. When the great lord was out doing errands or during his casual walks, the reaper would always be by his side. That was the reason for Lucifer's grieve. Today, the great lord no longer went on daily walks. Since the loss of Lazek , the people of Keoba had not seen their king for years . He hasn't been on his casual walks out in the village and the only time he was out was when his sworn brothers came to visit.
"It's a pity that Lord Lazek has left us. I've too heard from our seniors that Great Lord Lucifer was supposed to marry Lord Lazek after the war",an official from Keoba, Arnon said.
"Yes, Lord Icarus had told us how if we had won the war, Great Lord Lucifer and Lord Lazek would've gotten married a week after", another Keoba official, Alran said.
"Correct me if i'm wrong Brother Arnon, is Lord Icarus the crowned prince of Keoba ?".
"The lord indeed is. Enough chatting now Brothers, Sisters , let us enter the pavilion . A senior official is waiting for us ."
The pavilion that houses the officials , reapers, all royals and its servants was at the middle of Keoba . The pavilion was big and spacious , having purple and gold as its official colour. The uniform determines the rank among those in the pavilion. Although there are various designs of embroideries implemented on the uniform, the rank was determined by the colour. For junior officials, their uniforms were darker greyish tones of purple. Whilst for senior officials , their uniforms were bold dark tones of purple and the elders a slightly lighter and softer shades of purple . For the reapers ,they got to choose their own uniforms however it is mandatory to wear a golden choker with Lucifer's sigil embroidered in purple. For royal servants , their uniforms were a bit reddish , like a mixture of red and purple with the same golden choker . And lastly for the royalties , the fit was their own choice of purple, for the crown heirs, they had a thicker choker with floral embroideries and golden headpiece with purple gemstones .
"Welcome back Brother Arnon, Brother Alran . Thank you for escorting the junior officials here. I believe that there should be three from the same kingdom each?", the senior official asked.
"Yes sir", all of the young officials replied respectfully.
"I'll be handling the nine of you including three from our side. You can address me as Sir Kaeza. Let's not be too serious , try to lighten up", he paused seeing the young officials lost for words. "Hmm , again, you guys don't have to be quiet all the time , let's all just have fun", he smiled and escorted the rest to their rooms.
The younger juniors were amazed to see such an extravagant pavilion built just for Lucifer. Every room they passed was decorated with the intent to show off Keoba's wealth. At one point, they passed a massive lake , seemingly lit up with purple fire. In the middle of it was a tall tree ,its leaves were a mixture of purple shades and a hint of golden ones. It was the feature piece of the pavilion.
"Hey, don't be shy to ask questions. Aren't you curious about anything? The gossip around? Want to know any drama?", Kaeza asked as they walked . "Hmm, let's hurry up and unpack. We will meet at the training ground and have an introduction session", Kaeza spoke in a happy tone, clearly excited to train the juniors.
The junior officials were divided into a duo from different kingdoms . They had a room of two for each duo . As the younger officials were done settling in , they quickly gathered at the training ground just below their rooms . The pavilion was divided into three sections , the east wing , which were the sleeping quarters and the training ground , the west wing , that has the library , canteen and other common rooms and lastly the Lake of Fire, a meditation area and the royals headquarters. "Have you seen what the royal family of Keoba looked like ?".
"Why do you ask Brother Dean?".
"It's because i've never seen them before. I heard that Great Lord Lucifer is extremely close to your king, Great Lord Mammon. I thought that you've at least seen his highness Lord Icarus."
"Junior officials were in training most of the time. And his highness Lord Ronan is very strict with us. Hence , it was hard for us to have a peak. But rumour has it, the royals are ethereal."
"Then it is a privilege for us to have the chance to meet the royals. Isn't it , Brother Mal. "
"Indeed it is Brother Dean. Let's hurry now. Sir Kaeza is waiting for us ."
Group by group came gathering around Kaeza. The training ground was surprisingly full at that time. The elder officials and reapers were out seemingly discussing something worrying. Including Kaeza , most of the officials were either worried or just pure sadness had struck. Just as Kaeza was about to instruct the juniors, a tall reaper approaches ,calling his name with a stern voice. The reaper wore a golden headpiece with three purple gemstones that shines brighter than diamonds. His eyes were too the same shade as the gems on his headpiece. His eyelashes were long and his royalty marks were designed uniquely. "Your Highness Lord Icarus", Kaeza greeted with courtesy. The other junior officials did the same after ."Greetings Your Highness."
Kaeza, "I assume you've heard about the news".
"I did . Father and I will be attending it. Lord Hezia will be incharge during our absence".
"Understood Lord Icarus", Kaeza replied in a respectful manner. Still having himself at 90 degrees.
"No need to be this respectful. You are like my brother already. Are these the junior trainees?".Icarus asked as he straightened Kaeza's posture.
"Indeed , kids, this is His Highness, the crowned prince of Keoba", the juniors again bowed with courtesy.
"I hope everyone gets to improve even just a bit . Keoba is honored to have such talented officials here . And I hope we can meet again". And with that ,Icarus left the group. His movement is oh so graceful.
The news was that The Great Lord Satan has finally had a crown prince. The claim was that a child was infused with 50 times more dark energy than a normal born demon . For reference, Icarus was only infused with 10% of what was given to the crown prince of Miwen. What made the elder officials worried was that Satan's intention was clear. The Great Lord Satan was creating a weapon. For what his purpose is is still unknown , but it is best to keep an eye out for his move.
For the ceremony, Satan had invited all Great Lords from the seven major kingdoms as well as their favourable reapers. The crowned prince brought nothing but fear to them, especially as they had lost who was once the most powerful reaper.
