The Crown Princes

Yun and Fei were born in a time of unease with the destiny of being crown prince as the first sons of the emperor. There could only be one sun in the sky but their mother was a wise woman filled with love for both of her children. She hid Fei in the deep dungeons of her private chamber and placed Yun in the centre of the golden light. But they were never kept in the dark about each other. Fei lived with the satisfaction of supporting his brother from the shadows while Yun lived with the reassurance of having someone who is always on his side. This way, their mother could also ensure that the person on the throne would be her child, be it the one originally crowned or the one who could readily take his place. As they grow and mature, they have to traverse politics, love and survival in their own ways.
