"What do you do these days ?" She asked as if not interested at all .

"I became an artist ."

Carina's eyes widened ,"Oh . You really did fulfil your dream then ." Thomas nodded , a mild smile playing on his lips .

"And who pays your bills ?" She asked in a teasing manner . Thomas's jaw clenched .

"Mrs. Belle pays . But that is none of your concern ."

"And where do you live ?"

"Here", he mumbled . Why was she always so intimidating ?

She scoffed ,"You live in your wife's castle and live on her money ? Well done mr. Ainsworth ! You really live life to the fullest !"

"I didn't call you here to ridicule my lifestyle", he sternly said , feeling more insulted than ever .

"Then 'why' did you call me here ? And please don't say to teach me manners . I'm not a fool ."

Carina furrowed her brows ,"What ?"

"You need to spend as much time as possible with her , talk sweetly with her and win her heart ."
