Gods Court

Alexios awoke, but more like he has always been awake but now he really for the first time felt alive. He saw how his hands were translucent, how he was surrounded by greenery and saw a large building in the distance. He went forward towards the building, not knowing what lay in store for him. He soon learned other celestial bodies were there as animal shaped celestial bodies were all around, translucent like him all varying in color. He himself was red with a tiny of black while most animals were green or blue.

Some were even yellow in color. He came upon a pack of wolves who were orange and a fight soon broke out as the wolves attacked. He had so many questions as to why a celestial body would eat another celestial body but didn't care much after the thought came up as his instincts made him react. The fight was short and barely passable as even a spare in Alexios's mind but he just continued on his journey. It seemed as if days then months passed.

Alexios sat against a tree looking at the building before yelling out loud. "Just how far is that place!" He was frustrated, who wouldn't be? After calming down a few minutes later, he continued his path. Years passed with the same scenery with little change like a river here or a lake there or maybe a cave.

Nothing truly interested him till before he knew it, he was at the door to a massive building, at least tall enough for giants! He pushed and struggled, veins bulging and muscles contracting before the door began to creak open ever slightly. Just enough for him to pass inside. He was panting and when he entered, he saw dozens of giants looking at him as if he was a rare exotic animal.

"Hello?... um, I was wondering where am I?" He asked before one giant shook his head and approached before crouching down to lower himself at least a little to Alexios. "You child, are in the hall of gods, how did you get here? Only gods are permitted to be here." The tall giant man said as he began to run his hand over his beard.

Alexios thought for a little and said sheepishly and slightly embarrassed thinking about it. "Well um, some called me where I grew up the god of war if that helps?" The giant looked at him questionably before laughing loudly followed by the others. "Little child! We haven't had a god of war here in over three billion years, the last one died on a world called earth. You are too weak to reside here as you have barely a celestial body.

Though if you'd like, I'm sure everyone here would agree to help you along your path for either favors or a deal per say." Alexios thought for a long time before saying with conviction thinking of how he can maybe help his family if he becomes a god. "How will all of you help me on my path? And what are the deals or favors?"

The giant who spoke before said jovially, "Well a favor can be anything except asking to kill another god. And the deal can be made with any god really. As for how we would help you, we will send you back to a mortal realm, we won't know which one but we can make preparations beforehand. I'll start as an example, all I ask is a deal, I'll grant you a wish of your choosing in exchange if you help me with the world I'm growing after you become a full god." The giant man spoke while his voice became serious at the deal part.

So, as far as he knows, he can make himself look like what he wants and he will grow into that. He can choose his new life's name but only the first name. Honestly he was given so many options as every "god" there wanted the favor and connections from the new possible god of war. Alexios choose his original first name for his new life so he wouldn't be confused though he was saddened he would lose his last name that reminded him of his family. He then began to create his "body" which in every sense was weird and disturbing.

He couldn't even change some things such as hair color, eye color, skin color, basic things but he just sighed and ignored it. He made his height the same as his last life, 6'8, he couldn't change his weight as that would depend on him and his lifestyle. So he changed the few things he could, he gave himself straight teeth and adjust his looks just slightly from his original. He then embarrassingly accepted it as his new body. Though he was curious about just how tall or tiny you could make yourself, he wasn't interested enough to test it while these "gods" were watching him.

He then stated out loud, "I wish for a enhanced body capable of having no limits as so I have unlimited potential." This gained some nodding and some excited looks. "Next I wish to have the strongest possible bloodline I can get." This gained some looks of curiosity till the head god looked back at two gods that looked completely different but the same in a weird way. They were looking away from each other looking upset about something till both sighed and nodded at him.

"For my third wish, I want to be able to use magic to the fullest sense with a clear understanding of how to use it." The god that spoke for all of them spoke up after Alexios's third wish. "Do you mean magic from the world you will be born into or the magic from your world?" Alexios didn't even think if different worlds had different magic…" both… I want both." Alexios said with a smile while the head god shivered thinking of the possibilities of two worlds magic converging.

"My fourth wish, I wish to be able to make any mineral into any other mineral with the same weight as the first." Some faces should confusion while others were thinking this is too much but sighed in defeat. "Lastly…" Alexios knew he only had one more wish so he had to make it count. "I wish for the ability to grow in strength and power with every opponent I kill in battle by taking their power." Every God grew silent before the head god spoke up.

"With this your wishes will be granted, but I warn you. You have a dangerous ability; I hope you will not betray our trust in you." Just as Alexios was about to answer, his vision went white then black before he awoke to a blinding light and a giant woman holding him, but not as giant as the ones from before. He soon realized he was just born to the new world which he soon learned was strangely similar to his world with the exception of magic and other races from what he knew. He knew he couldn't do much so he decided to do the few things he could do. He tried to see how the inspect skill worked. After a few attempts of trying to make it work, he managed to make it work thinking of himself.
