1 Introduction: Cross
October 2019. People were screaming at the burning bus , a lot of people were injured and most of them were employees of a well famed power company.
Ray Cross was in the middle of the bus sitting while chatting with his wife thru his phone when the explosion happened.
He doesnt remember what happened , all he knew is that a loud explosion and people screaming happened while he was thrown out out of the bus window due to the force of the explosion and passed out.
A blue faint light coming down from the sky was all he can remember as he woke up in the hospital.
"what happened?" his head was in pain and his sight was blurry. "Where's everybody? Theresa? Gabriel? Gwyneth? Rei? Terrence??"
He forced himself to stand up but his body wont cooperate. He looked around and saw the white walls , a flat screen tv and medical equipment.
"huuh? How come the equipment are all old models that was dated almost 200 years ago?could it be?"
He concentrated and force himself to remember. What happened? He was at war and he lost his legion while he died upon receiving that gigantic mana ball!
He is Ray Cross a Senior General stationed in Solar Cross. Standing at 6"2 he was small compared to his subordinates but his broad shoulders, straight back and black hair with white made his presence outstand others.
His piercing eyes seems to contain heavens themselves!
They were at war with an alien race called the Hive , Planet Cross was the last outer outpost in the cross solar system of the 7th Realm. together with his family and the 23rd legion they defended the Solar Cross system against the vile alien species which they called the vile. Extraterresitials that have the shape of a human with extra horns on their heads and with lizard like tails, uncanny strength paired with amazing speeds make them almost invincible when it comes to a one on one match but the earth humans also possesed an ability called mana gathering to counter their enemies.
Mana gathering, space were blessed with plentiful of mana. Mana was the key for the big bang, planet formation , creating life. The humans learned of this mana at year 2035 and during that time the earth we know was deemed as lost in history due to human corruption. A series of plagues , weather change and war ravaged the planet that consumed 80% of the human population and the seas swalllowed the land. The remaining humans were lost and in despair when hope arrived. Death was everywhere.
The arrival of hope in human history was known as the day when God arrived. The truth was a mothership thousand of miles in length almost the size of the moon arrived on earth. They were called the Saint Race as halos on the top of their head formed as if they were saints of heaven. They brought peace ,hope, technology and cultivation to the humans ,beginning a new era for the humans.
It was almost 2040 by then ,Ray should be a dead man by then but the arrival of the saints paired with a stroke of luck catapulted him as one of the candidates of the human race that can learn cultivation that prolonged his life. He advanced in cultivation showing strength and perseverance than most of his peers even though his body has aged and he has lost the best time to cultivate which was 7 to 18 of age.
From Mana level ,Mana foundation, Star level , Space walker to Universe walker and into the fabled Universe knight. His step into cultivation proppled him as one of the strongest human in the micro human tree to ever emerged.
As the earth humans left the planet they migrated to countless solar systems and sevaral galaxies that spanned the universe and became part of the human alliance.
Ray Cross was awarded as the 7th general of the macro human alliance due to his cultivation speed and strength and was given a solar system to govern which has 12 planets and has 7 life planets making it one one of best solar systems at that time. He was named the Cross sword General as he wielded a heavy cross shaped sword known as the Bloody Cross.
After 100 years the macro humans encountered an enemy species called the hive and then began a long devastating war that rattled the human universe. A long ardous war came , the hive was enormously powerful , their cultivation runs deep and their technology superior. One by one countless solar systems , galaxies fell from the might of the hive.
As one of the generals of the 7th realm he was supposed to be in safety under the human emperor , away from war and should only give commands and orders. But this was his home, Cross planet named under him. The earth humans who migrated missed the planet earth so he tried his best to be the strongest earth human to find a planet the same as earth and give it to his people. As the leader of the earth humans he spent almost 100 years gathering all his fellow earth humans creating a home for almost all of them. But disaster struck.
One day the hive appeared out of nowhere. The order to leave the Cross solar system was given to him immedietely but he decided to stay. With the 23rd legion they fought with the vile and one by one the planets of the solar cross system was devoured.
On the 7th day october at space calendar 1127. The human General dubbed as the bloody cross stood in their last space battleship. With one swipe from his sword many enemies fell, space crack and split. The large cannon batteries roared and destroyed enemy ships.Enemies as large as mountains , their Ships as large as planets exploded from his sword slashes. The rest of the survivors flee while many young and old saw an image of a man that lead his legion on one last stand to let the others escape.
"My lord please you must escape! I have secured a realm portal for you!" Graham cross said while kneeling , several of the legions lieunants and majors with him.
"No. Let the rest of the legion and the wounded go to the portal and escape, I shall stay here." General Cross stood while he oversaw the reserve forces of his once mighty legion battle endless enemies that has no end.
"My lord please you must listen! Reinforcements are in their way and we can still find another place we can call home!" Grahm cross pleaded. He was now on tears as he saw the back of his General.
"Home..teresa..." General cross whispered.
"No! This is my home and I will stay!" General cross shouted and he dismissed his most loyal soldier, his great great grandchild. With a waive of his sleeve graham cross was bounded and he threw him to the escape porta!
"No! General! Grandpa!what are you doing!" spade screamed.
"I'm saving your scrawny ass dont you see? Hahahaha!" the general laughed as he saw his grandchild dissapear towards the portal.
Graham cross cried and cried while screaming "Grandpa!!! Grandpa!!! Grandpa!!"
"Hahaha men its time for the twilight hour!!!" He raised his sword and his aura blew forth! A menacing aura that filled the entire solar systen was coverered right away!
A large dharma projection of a bloody cross stood from the battlefield!
"Aye! Lets show them what this axes are made of!" a large fat man shouted while he brandished his axes and an image of a large axe surged into the sky!
"Buddha forgives!" a buddihist monk clenched his beads as a buddha image a thousand feet large sprung from his feet.
"My life for the General!!" the soldiers shouted! Their shouts conveys their blood lust!
"Death to the enemies!" General cross shouted and leaped from where he stood to join the fight!
"Death!! " the rest of the soldiers shouted and joined the battle!
Like meteors with amazing speeds they battle their enemies, heads Rolled , bodies sliced in half. Mana bombs , missiles! Endless slaughter!
The fat man with axes grabbed a huge alien and flew towards a battle formation! He had already exhausted his entire mana and was on the ends of his life! "My life for the general!!" he self detonated and the battle formation was destroyed along with him killing a hundred enemies.
The buddhist was chanting as the large hands of his buddha projection was being eaten by the alien enemies. His protective mana shield had distigrated! "Alas! It is not the end!" he also exploded and his dharma projection became a huge star that devoured half of the surrounding enemies and exploded!
It was a bitter battle to the end!
Soldiers fought until the last man! If they cannot kill their enemies they detonated themselves to kill enemies surrounding them! It was a 1 to 10 battle!
"No mercy!"
General Cross slashed and pierced! Countless enemies poured like waterfalls! His left hand was bitten and crushed by an alien general but he bit the enemies head off and killed him! An alien general also joined were he smacked the general's chest !
Cross chest caved and his armor chipped in half! Nevertheless he hugged the alien general and detonate himself!
But it was not over! After detonation his lower body is nowhere to be seen but the general can still fight! His upper body can still fight and he teleported away on one side of the battle field and slaughtered his enemies!
He waive his left hand and the space was sliced! Almost all of the invaders were wiped out on that side of the battlefield!
He threw countless punches and the mountain like alien was pulverized! An ion laser suddenly blasted its way to his abdomen but he still fought like a wild tiger on his last breath!
Hours of non stop fighting, cannons spew fire! Fighter crafts fought and soldiers with sufficient cultivation fought bravely!
But no reinforcements came, Cross solar system was devoured. Defeated and outnumbered General cross stood before the star of cross! A sun! Its star was now changing its color like blood. A bloody star! As if to reflect the General's fame and the blood that poured today!
General cross floated and his legion composed of hundreds of thousands of troops was left with only a hundred. His officers were dead, soldiers who has talents superior than him dead. Youngsters who followed him and idolized him dead.
But his enemies lie forth , beaming at them , looking at them with develish grin on their faces. Waiting for the signal to attack.
A dark light followed. A dark figure stood on the alien battleship the size of a star! The vile creatures bowed their heads and stopped their advance.
The dark entitiy slowly flew to face the tired battered general.
"You have fought hard.. General cross of the human realm." the dark figure said.
"Ha! Spare us with your words scum! Lets be done with this!" General cross replied! It must be the leader of the the hive! He secretly crushed a miniature chip and recorded the dark entity secretly while he stood face to face with his enemies.
"Your heroism today has awoken something in me. Its been a long long time since anyone showed me what war and generals should be like... And because of your performance I promise you that your race will be exterminated as soon as possible." the dark figure sighed.. On his fingertip floated a violet mana ball.. It then grew from a few centimeters into one terifying power ball the size of an orange star!
"Join me and you will spared."
"what power.." General cross stared at the monstrous energy. No one can fight his thing on our front lines! This must be reported at once! "Never! Kill me now and forever know that I General Ray Bloody Cross will stop you!!"
General cross put the last remaining mana and power into his sword. The cross shapes sword grew big, its aura devilish and full of vengeance! Hatred! He threw the sword towards the dark entity with speed faster than the speed of light!
The dark figure smiled and threw the energyball towards the general!
The sword disentigrated as he ball swallowed the entire sun!
"hehehehe .... Hahahahahaha I devour the universe! I Destroy everything!!....." the dark entitiy laughed.
"My lord it was my honor to serve you.." the remaining soldiers kneeled towards their general and waited to their deaths.
" I have failed you... Failed you.. I promised to all of you that you will have a wondeful happy life but this is what I gave you... " General cross cried while he looked into the last of his remaining soldiers. His last card to win this war was powerless on the dark entities power.
The soldiers smiled to the general as the rays of the energy ball strike on their bodies.
One by one the soldiers fell.
He grabbed a blue pendant from his neck and held it as the enermous energy ball flew towards him.
His arms spread out and he braced himself knowing that someone was waiting for him in heaven.
" Teresa I will be joining you..." his tear fell into the pendant as the energy ball blasted the star and disentigrated his body.
His body turned to dust while his pendant disappeared and flew into space towards the human alliance!
