2 Chapter 1 Teresa
Ray was staring at the ceiling all day.
Yes it felt like a dream but it seems I went backthrough time and based on the equipment and date on the calendar on the table. A nurse just went to check his condition and was telling stories on how the investigation was going through on the burned bus. He also asked what date it is and found out its currently October 20 2019.
Alas! He found it unimaginable as he is back on his 32year old self! Im old errrr my back! Ray crumpled as his former body was as weak as an ant.
His head ached and there were burnt marks left on his arms but his mind was floating elsewhere.
"Did the alliance get my message? How is Graham doing? I hope he can lead the rest of my people to safety.." worriedly he thought to himself.
He tried to concentrate and feel the mana around him. It took time but he felt his room around him warm up like spring!
He cannot see the mana right now but he can feel it around him.
Like moths attracted to fire, his call to them was irresistable.
Ray smiled, mana. It's here , I felt it. It was not a dream! I went back in time! An opportunity!
Ray was smiling as he thought of endless possibilities, he was aged 54 when he was introduced to mana, due to his old age his latent talent was almost zero but he maked up to it by training and perseverance! Heroes rose and fell during the cultivation period but his aged heart did not! Cultivation is all about the heart!
I now have the opportunity to change everything ray smiled while he stared outside the window as saw the rising buildings around. 2019 huh? I wonder what I was doing then.
Suddenly the door was opened by a beautiful lady her eyes was small but full of life her lips was natural but pinksh outside. Her skin white as jade!
Ray' eyes widened as he saw a figure lost in time! Teresa! It was wife! Around her were a boy aged 9. Gabriel! A girl aged 6 also was with them, gwyneth! And a 3 year old girl that looked playful was held by an aged lady around 60! Mother!! Rays chest was pounded by a thousand emotions, his eyes shed tears as he saw his family lost in the calamity before God descended!
Teresa held a new born baby. Terrence! He cried as the family hurriedly hugged him, his wife was crying too as ray felt their warm bodies close to him! Oh my god definitely this is not a dream! Even if it was please I dont want to wake up!
For countless years even though he reached the highest cultivation for humanity he always taught and regretted that he was not able to save his family!
"Papa! Your alive" Gabriel said while he hugged ray.
"Papa you said you would live a thousand years for me!" Gwyneth was snobbing while holding his hand.
"You crazy old man! I told you never ride those old buses!" teresa cried as he held his husbnd's face.
Ray cried and kissed his wife. It was deep and passionate, full of longing. Oh he dreamed of this a million times! He is back and this time he would save them!

Everything felt like a dream, here he was with his family. All of them alive and laughing.
It gave him hope, his eldest son as he can remember died from a strange disease that happened in 2024.His eldest daughter would survive the plague only to drown in the 2030 World flood.
His remaining children and teresa would be left to fend for themselves as he would be pursuing his dream to become earth's first mana warriors. He gained the power but failed to protect his family before.
Tears fell as ray can't contain his emotions and regret.
This time it would be different, last time he soared towards the heavens and became a beacon of humanity. This time he would ensure that his family comes along with him!
