Unexpected visitors

Months passed with Mukuro being bedridden until he had enough. He had trained only for him to be incapacitated irked him. So, out of nowhere, Madara and Izuna saw Mukuro walk down the stairs in his battle attire.

"No."

Before Mukuro had reached the end of the stairs, Madara had already refused.

"Yes."

Mukuro replied in a similar manner as he continued to walk towards them. He came to stand face to face with his older brother.

"Face it, I'm going to leave one way or another."

"Nope."

As soon as he said that Madara immediately struck out tried to grab a hold off Mukuro. Mukuro didn't just stand there as he just countered the grab and threw Madara over his shoulder. Landing on his back, Madara grunted as Mukuro locked his hand behind him. Suddenly Madara blinked and found that he was back to where he was before he attacked. Seeing Mukuro smiling, he could tell that he had unknowingly been bought into an illusion by Mukuro.

Sighing in defeat, Madara just looked at him complicatedly.

"Fine then, but you're coming with us."

Mukuro always entered the battlefield alone but Madara won't allow it this time.

Not wanting to push Madara further, Mukuro complied as he followed with them. When he left the house, his fellow clansmen were rather surprised at seeing Mukuro leave his bed given his health. Seeing him in his battle attire, confirmed their suspicions while some voiced their doubts.

Mukuro felt a warm feeling rising in his heart as they just cared about his health but seeing Mukuro turning a deaf ear they opted for a stronger approach. His strength.

That was quickly resolved as Mukuro just swiftly defeated a few of them with taijutsu, shutting everyone up.

Still they all watched him leave with worried eyes. At this time in war, clans were what people had as they would live or die with them, so familial bonds were extremely tough.

Smiling to himself, he noticed Izuna staying rather close to him with a vigilant eye constantly monitoring the surroundings. Mukuro found his brother's antics amusing but let it be, he would rather have him vigilant in the battlefield rather than complacent.

As they slowly left the Uchiha clan's borders, the atmosphere intensified and Izuna wasn't the only one vigilantly looking around. The ones more talented at sensing were slowly looking at their surroundings as everyone had now activated their sharingan, even Mukuro.

"Let's split up."

Mukuro voiced out as everyone agreed. As Madara tried intending for Mukuro to follow him, Mukuro rejected him but took Izuna and a couple of the stronger Uchiha's with him, appeasing Madara. The rest didn't mind so they now had two groups, the large one with Madara and a small one with Mukuro leading them.

Their goal this time was to sabotage nearby supply lines while Mukuro was to investigate a strange occurrence nearby. Fluctuations of Chakra were felt from a nearby abandoned ruin and strange sightings were seen by travelling merchants.

It was relatively far from the front lines, so Madara was happy to let Mukuro to go their rather than risk his life. The guy was surprisingly overprotective with him. Mukuro knew why, although he was confident of Mukuro's and Izuna's strength, he worried for Mukuro more. There was always the possibility of him suddenly coughing up blood mid-fight and he was pretty sure someone would take the chance to take him out.

Mukuro put these thoughts to the back of his head as they neared the ruins. Broken buildings with aged vines and shrubbery entered their sights. Ancient carvings and runes littered the places as the group of four entered the place. The two following the two brothers were Uchiha Ryoko and Uchiha Kai, respectively female and male. The two were among the elite, with their strength only slightly falling behind the three others. Although their experience was way ahead of the three, the three brothers and the two brothers form the Senju clan were anomalies no one had expected.

As Mukuro took the lead, the other three couldn't help but just follow him. Mukuro traced his fingers on the murals depicting an ancient clan but he could barely understand it. Mukuro could tell that it was one of the many clans that had disappeared over the years of constant wars. Suddenly a fluctuation of chakra grasped their attention as they hurried into a large opening in a cave.

The clan was situated near a mountain and they seemed to have made their way into the main hall within a mountain. When they entered the opening, they hurried to where they felt the fluctuations only to end up in a large hall. There was a plinth in the middle with runes spread across it. These runes were currently shining a blinding white light. The group had covered their eyes before the light abruptly stopped and a group of people were there in the middle. They seemed out of it but the four Uchiha never waited, their weapons were out, and they were already pointing it at the group that suddenly appeared.

The group were wearing clothes not seen at this time, more importantly it was ones that appeared in the show. Mukuro was rather shocked as he raised his eyebrow, but he never put away his weapon. Four people appeared in front of the Uchiha's, one was a blonde teenager wearing a black and orange tracksuit and had whiskers on his cheeks. The second was a girl with pink hair and green eyes who was wearing pink, the third was also a girl but with dark purple hair and pupil-less white with a hint of lavender eyes while the last was an older man with white hair and one of his eyes black eyes covered by a headband and a mask covering the lower half of his face.

They all were rubbing their heads, completely unaware of the trouble they were currently in.

"Ite, ite, ite, what was that?"

The blonde boy, Naruto asked while rubbing his head,

"We seemed to have activated the formation-"

Kakashi was the first to notice the extra four people as his voice stopped.

"Huh? What happened Kakashi-sen-"

Naruto also looked up only to see familiar, yet different pair of eyes bore down to him. The other 2 were also the same as they shut up.

Mukuro raised his eyebrow,

"Hmm, a half Uzumaki, a hatake, a hyuuga…"

Mukuro spoke out as his eyes landed on Sakura,

"And…"

Mukuro squinted his eyes,

"…I don't know. What clan are you from?"

Just as she was about to speak, Kakashi put her had up to silence her as he looked towards Mukuro,

"We don't want to fight, we are here looking for a criminal, he seemed to also use the formation, have you seen him?"

"There was a similar fluctuation a few days ago."

Kakashi seemed to contemplate something when Naruto jumped out. Probably seeing Mukuro being the same age as him he never had his guard up,

"Oi, who do-uggh!"

"Naruto!"

Mukuro didn't listen to him as he knocked Naruto down and bought his naginata to his throat.

"Wait, we don't intend to make a scene, we come in peace."

Kakashi hurriedly tried to calm the situation down when Izuna broke outwit a giggle,

"Mukuro nii-san, he said peace."

Kai and Ryoko did the same as they found the term amusing. Even Mukuro smiled lightly as he looked at Kakashi, still holding his Naginata to Naruto's throat,

"Peace is a lost concept with the current warring states period."

Realisation dawned onto Kakashi as his face lost all colours, but another thought passed through his head,

'Mukuro, Uchiha Mukuro… why does that name sound familiar?'

The more he looked at Mukuro that familiar feeling increased as Mukuro's face overlapped with another image in his brain. Kakashi was sent into further shock when he felt a couple more presence enter the hall. Mukuro turned around to see a familiar figure appear through the door,

"It's been some time, Hashirama, Tobirama."
